After 10 years, I finally revisited Hot Wings Café in Pasadena, and I was happily surprised by the experience. The place has been remodeled to a more modern look. Although I felt the previous look had more personality, the new vibe is still great.
My partner and I were warmly greeted by the staff. I'm not sure what other reviewers were referring to when they mentioned poor staff behavior, but our experience on a Sunday evening was the opposite. Our waitress was very friendly, and we noticed other staff members quickly cleaning tables and making sure they were spotless for the next guests. The floor was also clean, adding to the overall pleasant environment.
The wings were slightly smaller than I remembered, but that's expected nowadays in most restaurants. We also got fried zucchini and curly fries, and they were fantastic! Everything tasted amazing. They also provided plenty of napkins and a moist towelette to clean our hands after enjoying the wings.
Overall, Hot Wings Café remains a great spot for delicious wings. Even after a decade, I still enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The service was poor. Make sure to check the yelp reviews. The cashier, a woman rolled our eyes at us before we took our order. This is very unprofessional and unwelcoming. I was planning to eat for 10 minutes at the restaurant and ordered take out for convenience. However, I was informed that I couldn't eat in the restaurant because my food was in a take-out box. The restaurant had no signs informing customers to this rule. The wings were small for the price, and the ranch tasted sour.

We ordered two wings combos with the fries and were pleasantly surprised. The extra hot buffalo actually was hotter than normal, which was great! The lemon pepper was very good too! The curly fries were tasty. The fries were ready right on time!

We came here on a Wednesday early afternoon and service was great!! Karen was so friendly and attentive! Friendly attitude and just welcomin!! The boneless chicken wings were excellent! Juicy inside and firm outside! The 8 piece combo chicken wings with curly fries were spot on perfect. We would definitely return soon. My friend and I stayed longer after eating them ordered takeout and she was so accommodating! We will be back!!!

Omg! Do not go here. The waitress was very sweet and good. That’s where it stopped. They serve “ketchup” for the fries that is the most disgusting ketchup me and my partner have ever had. They put it inside old “Heinz” bottles too. It was awful. The wings were super tiny and mostly over fried so they were crispy and dry. Then let’s talk about the sauces on the wings….. like the ketchup they must buy the cheapest sauces on the market. The BBQ was disgusting and the buffalo was a poor-generic knock off. It is hard to mess up wings, but they found a lot of ways to do it here .
