Haven’t been to Howlin in years but glad to be in the area to grab some good food. Service was phenomenal and food was even better! Can never go wrong with this place 🙌

We went on a rainy day and Howlin’ Ray’s staff were amazing. They were handing out umbrellas to people who didn’t have one. When we got up to the front the person who took our order way efficient and quick despite the large amount of items we ordered.

A nice tip if you will not be eating the Sando there is to ask for it deconstructed so you can reassemble back at your destination so the slaw doesn’t make everything soggy!

5 stars does this place no justice. Almost an insult to this place seriously. This is the type of food people make rumors about and no one believes cause food cannot be that good. And the service makes you feel like royalty 😭

I've been coming here for a few years and it's consistently good. The people are very kind and make the visit a great experience. I usually get the sando with cheese and it's a really good size. The spice level obviously depends on what you can tolerate. However, the banana pudding really helps if you got a spice level maybe a bit higher than you expected (or just as a sweet treat). Even if I have to drive a bit to eat here, I never regret it. The food and the energy is 10/10.

I don’t remember exactly, but we waited about 1–2 hours. Parking took longer than expected too. I had high hopes, but it was pretty underwhelming.

Not worth a two hour wait. The chicken is as crunchy, juicy and hot as you’ve probably seen on TikTok, but what they don’t show you is the wait time.

The Sando is the best real piece of chicken sandwich you’ll ever have, a medium heat level is all that I can handle. The fries are hot and crispy and well seasoned. The sandwich sauce goes great with the sandwich.

I went to this place and decided to try their Original Hot Chicken Sandwich, it definitely lived up to the hype , the chicken was juicy with a crispy, the sides were tasty, though the line is long, so be prepared to wait more so on weekends. Once inside the staff are friendly and efficient considering how busy it gets and orders come out fairly quickly once you reach the counter, it can get pretty crowded and loud so be prepared, might not be ideal if you’re looking for a low key calm place.
