I came in this past June with friends and family for a birthday lunch. Service was great and so was the food, per usual. The brownie sundae was so sweet and the kids loved the ambience inside. Our servers had protective face masks and shields and there was social distancing between tables. I had a great time and it was so special to celebrate during these Covid times. Islands has been a staple in my life for decades. Food is always served within 15 minutes, and coming in for a quick lunch is no problem. Having a sense of normalcy has been everything. Thank you to the staff for making my day memorable.

Went here for a late lunch and ordered the Kilauea burger. What I did like was that there was space outside between tables that was more than six feet. There were some issues with the ordering system and the waitress had to take my order a second time. Unfortunately, she dropped my bun on the ground when brining it out so I had to wait a little bit longer. I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of my meal but I ordered a frozen lemonade and fries along with my Kilauea burger. The burger was delicious, but a bit small if you ask me. I was expecting a bit more for a $16 burger. That being said, the burger was cooked perfectly for a medium well burger. The fries were very good and it was a good portion size. The frozen lemonade was also a good size. Overall, it was a decent experience but definitely some room for improvement and faster service.

We've always enjoyed going to this Island's in the past for decent food. Understanding that it is a time of covid, we still want to support restaurants for delivery. The issue is the last two times we ordered for delivery, they left out several items. The first time I ordered a kids Mac and cheese meal, the only thing I got was the apple sauce. No Mac and cheese or drink. This time we were missing the french fries and got several side salads with no dressings. Not sure if it's the rush of orders and like I said, I want to keep supporting, but it's been 2x in a row that we were missing SEVERAL items.

Last night we went to Islands restaurant I ordered the pipeline burger and it was just ok....The bun was a little dry and didn't seem too fresh......It came with sweet potato fries which were on point they were delicious but, my friend ordered regular fries and they too didn't seem fresh. The server did the best he could under our current conditions. The restaurant had a small outside section corner and I saw so much space in front of the door that could have been used....

First time here with my family was great loved there balcony seating had a nice view. There service was one of the best I've had in a while. Will definitely be back to this specific location.

The atmosphere of Islands always has a friendly and chill vibe. The workers are friendly and patient. Islands was one of the first restaurants I went to since the Covid-19 lockdown. They made sure every worker had a mask, maintained social distancing, and made sure to sanitize the tables and chairs once we left. They also had a online menu where you would scan a code that was placed on the table. I was very pleased with this feature because it made me feel as if they really cared about the health of their costumers. Although the menu didn't have all the usuals, almost everything was on it. It was very easy to access and read. They brought out our food quickly after we ordered and our waitress made sure we were happy with our meals. I've always had good experiences at Islands but this experience was especially great. I am so glad that this beloved restaurant is making their customers feel safe.

Was my first time eating at Islands and one of my first outings since sheltering in place- islands took all precautions and their patrons concerns seriously. There was a sign in table outside where a host would escort and seat you inside. Table seatings were appropriate- staff wore masks and servers not only wore masks but face shields as well. Menus were available by scanning a video and viewing on phone however paper disposable menus were available on request. Utensils were given as seated and no condiments were on table- individual salt and pepper packs were given. Now.... the food... I had a delicious chicken bowl that was just the right portion; burgers were ordered and enjoyed by guests in my party and they were juicy and cooked to perfection. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly and attentive. It was a comforting experience in trying uncertain times.
I mean, 5 stars because you're open when a lot of stuff is closed! Seems biased. That's because it is. But the waiter here was super friendly and made sure to follow all the necessary precautions. So enjoyed being able to drink and eat on a patio with the open air. And really, the waiter was just phenomenal. That's it. Come here for great drinks and food.

I've created many good memories in this restaurant so it has sentimental value to me. I never had anything negative nor experienced poor service in this restaurant. The burgers are really good and i like the Hawaiian burger. This place does hold good memories which is what i enjoy this place. The price of the burger is decent as the quality of the food is very good.

I ate there a little after 1pm on 3/4/20. Maybe 5 small groups were there before me. A lot of staff and little service. Service was slow and the worst was I could taste and smell the soap the iced water so I stuck with my Coke. I was sick the rest of the day from the Chicken Caesar Salad or the soap water. When I got the check and paid I was going to tell the waitress but she was in a rush to leave. I won't take another chance here.

Very good burgers. Love their frys too. This s good place for groups, families and just a date. Lots of drinks and a nice atmosphere for fun. A little noisy sometimes.
