Service was great, our server was awesome and was great with my kid. He made custom menu suggestions for my family member's food desires. Refills and check ups were timely and appropriate. Get 4 stars because the food doesn't match the price point. An order of a burger with a side is about $19 each. I’ve been going to Islands for years. The one here in Pasadena is no exception. I really enjoy coming here during Football season. They have happy hour from 3pm to close on Mondays and Thursdays. I definitely recommend the beachside sliders and buffalo wings off the HH menu. They have great beers on tap, such as Mango Cart by Golden Road Brewery.
The service was good but the turkey burger was a little greasy and flavorless whilethe fries were a tad dried out. I did enjoy the strawberry lemonade. If you get a Kids meal, skip the slider for young kids. We opted for the junior for my 4 yr old and she devoured it like it was a mini bc it wasn't big (maybe the size of a Mc'Ds dollar burger..
