I've only ever found consistent disappointment from both the milk and fruit teas here. I've gone back more than I should because they are a part of Boiling Point and are on the BP menu. The milk teas are really really watered down and bland, I've tried with 50% sweet and 100%, normal and less ice, still all very bland. Perhaps the worst experience I had was with the High Mountain Oolong w/ Passionfruit. There was virtually zero tea flavor and the passionfruit was extremely sour. After four visits here, I can confidently NOT recommend it at all.

Not kidding, this is the best I have ever had! The tea aroma is tangy and blooms explosively on the tip of the tongue, the taste is silky and not bitter, and the toppings are also unique!

I've frequented JIN Tea shop on Green Street in Pasadena for years, and it never fails to impress! The tea bottles are not only visually stunning but also reusable, adding a charming touch to the experience. Their tea presentations are beautifully adorned with colorful flowers and offer authentic flavors with just the right hint of sweetness and milk, if desired. Unlike typical bubble tea places, the focus here is solely on the quality of the tea itself, which I truly appreciate. I've tried numerous drinks like the matcha latte, love potion, butterfly pea flower lemonade, oriental beauty oolong, etc all of which have been delightful. Although primarily serving cold beverages, they specialize in brewed, authentic loose leaf teas with a modern twist. Customer service is good, no complaints! If you're a tea enthusiast or simply enjoy quality beverages, I highly recommend giving JIN Tea shop a try!

jin has delicious strong flavored tea which is what I look for in milk teas. Tried 2 oolong milk teas, oriental beauty and high mountain, and both were good at my go to 75% sweet! Workers were helpful with answering my questions for the differences between their multiple oolong tea options. No seating inside and the drinks are on the pricier side but for the good quality. This shop is just off of colorado blvd in old town Pasadena so it's mostly paid parking only in the nearby structures.

I love their signature original milk! Tofu pudding is what I crave for while pregnant! Lol My husband would drive me to buy it and we're coming from santa clarita! Oh I wish we have jin tea shop in our area!

they have the softest Boba that I've ever taste. Located next to boiling point I will get them for dessert and they are pretty consistent with the taste and boba quality. Sometimes the drink take too long because it depends on how many staff are there, but they move pretty slow.. They are also selling couple stuff that is tea related, and you can always taste the tea in the drinks. however, the price is higher than other boba places and it's normal since they are located in old pas. Vibe is pretty chill, but I recommend to place an order beforehand.

Jin Tea is such a gem of a boba shop. It's small, so there's not much seating available. Their menu is extensive and detailed, but has the basics. I got the wintermelon milk tea and a regular milk tea for my husband. They were such incredible qualify - the flavors are rich and robust. You can tell that the tea is brewed fresh. I'm so happy we found this spot because it's been almost 2 months since we first went here and I'm still craving the wintermelon milk tea. I wish I didn't love so far from the shop, but I will definitely be coming here the next time I'm in the area! Jin Tea is truly a special boba shop, and I hope they expand to more western parts of LA because we need more high quality tea shops like these. Parking is tough, but you can look for a metered spot on the street. They accept credit card and Apple Pay.

I used to come here every Friday after gym with a bunch of my girlfriends. Now I bring my boyfriend every now and then for item number 11. It's melon tea with organic milk plus brown sugar pearls. All these years, the drink still tastes the same and lovely. The melon tea tastes fresh and not too artificial while the milk doesn't overpower the tea. The boba is such a nice touch to add the sweetness. We almost get this drink weekly. The establishment is right next to Boiling Point, and I think it's own by the same group so we sometimes have dinner at boiling point and order the drinks. The service is efficient and fast. I rarely wait more than 5 min for my drinks. One thing to note is that it's impossible to find street parking. Also, for some reason, there is always VERY strong bleach smell at the store which can be quite disturbing. I think it would turn away lots of first-time customers. Abut once you tried the drink, you are likely to come back, so always get a stamp card.

?There is a rubbish clerk in this store. She is an Asian girl with short hair and glasses. She has serious racial discrimination and has a very bad attitude towards Chinese customers. She is arrogant and rude. The ordering process is very unpleasant and the experience is terrible! In the two weeks since I came to Los Angeles, everyone from every country I met was very nice. Except for this Chinese guy working in the United States, I am so impressed. Such an employee will bring discredit to his boss wherever he goes to work!

I complained that a clerk of this store was an Asian girl with short hair and glasses, who had serious racial discrimination. The ordering process was very bad, impatient, arrogant and impolite. After I paid the bill and wanted to read the list and sign, she grabbed me and shouted, "Sign!" Sign it!" The experience is so bad and so angry

Don't bother coming here. Go down the street and get boba from Prolece Tea instead. At least that Boba shop doesn't come with a side of shit service. I mean, does this store just hire anyone who walks through the door? It seems like poor customer service is an essential quality when working here. I never knew anyone could get this low tier of service in a Boba shop, but this chick with a short, pixie hair cut and glasses managed to surprise me(friend's receipt says lily but name tag is Emma? I think). Putting the person with no customer skills at the forefront of your business in the cashier position is probably the worst business decision anyone can make. So here is the situation(2/8/2024 @ 10pm): I walk in with the intention of ordering a regular Boba milk tea. So I simply asked what the equivalent of that would be in this store, because I didn't see 'Boba milk tea' like I see in other stores, or perhaps overlooked it. Every Boba shop has always able to point out to an equivalent drink so I was already imagining a similar scenario. She pauses and then gestures over to the menu saying there are like 4 different tea flavors. I looked at it and said I wasn't looking for the different flavors, but ask again what a regular Boba milk tea from other stores would be here. I probably offended her, but it's like she heard the most outrageous thing ever. She pauses again, except this time she let's out an obvious and audible sigh... Then does the same thing! Gestures her hand to the menu and says the same script! She is actually a robot! She clearly doesn't want to sell me any drinks, so I just told her I don't want anything anymore. I went down the street to a different Boba shop instead. I used to come here but this experience alone is more than enough of a deterrent to never come back. You know what, I'm convinced that she must be the owner of Prolece Tea. She gets hired at Jin Tea, provide doggo tier service, and drive customers to a nearby competitor, aka her own store. Classic. PS: hire some workers with people skills

Their tea is always SO refreshing! I try to stop by whenever I'm in town, but I'm willing to drive over half an hour for this place if I needed to :) My favorite is their High Mountain Oolong Milk Tea with boba. If you like a subtle oolong taste, then this drink is perfect for you. Since their tea is pretty strong imo, I suggest going full sweet! Normally, at other places though, I do 50% - 75% sweet. Their pricing is fair as well, especially being in the middle of Pasadena. Parking can be a hassle, but if you don't mind walking, there are garages all over that have a certain amount of time free!

Such a great tea store to visit in Pasadena. I live that they have great options for tea everytime I come. They also offer a sleeve for the cups with $1 when you buy drinks at the store. I highly recommend trying the cheese ball there, so so good

Delicious Tea Shop! Not really a place to come to chill out over some conversation since there isn't much seating. Just order and go. I loved the oolong milk tea with 50% sweet. What's great is that you can order by jugs. Probably good for 5-10 depending on how thirsty they area. You just have to order ahead of time to make sure it's ready. We were quoted about 1.5 hours for three jugs

We seriously love this place. We've been coming here since it opened, and have yet to be let down with any drink we've ever ordered. If I had to complain about anything, it would be how expensive their loose-leaf teas/boxes of tea bags are, and the lack of price tags on their shelved items, at times. Other than that, I just wish they had more locations in the eastern SGV area.
