I've honestly never had a bad experience here and am a hugeeeee sushi lover! Their rolls are delicious and there is a wide variety of them. Love the special truffle sushi roll! Service has always been friendly and fast. Good to come here if you want a casual, quick sushi experience + all the yummy appetizers.

Food is just okay. Ordered ramen and it was lukewarm; waitress took it back to the chef who groaned when he saw my plate was returned. They stuck it in the microwave and heated it. No redoing dishes in this place. However my dining companion liked her meal. Giving it 3 stars because of my companion's experience. No ambiance to speak of and the bathrooms are two flights down in a basement that is very isolated. Literally, someone could get accosted there and no one would hear them.

The food and service are good. This restaurant are busy during weekend and they have good team work. In general we like this place because they have great service.

The service was good here, but besides that there isn't much to rave about. I will say that the service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The inside of the restaurant is open, and nice. I did have a unique fish smell though. We ordered a couple lunch specials. As a group, many people got the Teriyaki chicken with tempura. There was also a charashi bowl with 7 different kinds of fish. Teriyaki chicken and tempura: - This is some super dry chicken. Even with sauce, it was not very good. Portions were small, and definitely still hungry after eating it. The Tempura did taste good, so that was the best thing I ate. Charashi bowl: - Pretty bad. There are actually only 3 types of sashimi (Tuna, yellow tail salmon). The other fish here was cooked shrimp, tamago (egg), and imatation crab. Very small, and leaving the customer very hungry. When i was debating 2 or 3 stars, this put it at a solid 2. Will I return? I can't see a reason to do so....

Outside dining is nice. The spicy tuna roll was great. California roll and hand Roll based on California Roll was much to be desired. Miso soup was standard. Salads were made well with assorted greens. Main entrees were wonderful and very flavorful. Dessert of mochi ice cream is always a nice treat.

Amazing food! Amazing prices! Amazing service! Amazing vibes! Also, our waitress Shizuka was amazing, was quick to accommodate us, and was just an amazing person to be with. It was our honor to be served by her.

This place smells like absolute shit. I can't even enjoy the food/ambiance or food at all. They should have never moved out of their old location.

Been to Kabuki before at their location in Culver City/West LA. I was happy to see this location pop up in my neck of the woods. First off I love that there was a designated underground parking lot. The staff were welcoming upon arrival, and the waiter that attended to us was really nice. We started with the shishito peppers which I thought were pretty good. The salmon hand roll was tasty and the yellowtail carpaccio was fresh and enjoyable. We also ordered a couple of rolls that provided a delightful experience. The overall aesthetics of the place were clean and relaxing. I honestly felt the food and service were okay good and not bad. Nothing for me really to complain and pick at but also nothing for me to feel like I was overall impressed. Did enough for me to possible come back but nothing for me to tell my friends to come.

This place is reasonable, the food is fresh and has good service. Lunch deals go until 4pm with happy hour following right after so there's always opportunity to catch a food deal. My favorite thing is piping hot rice served with my meal and the rice is cooked perfect. I've only had their beef and chicken teriyaki and spicy tuna and california rolls. All are great. It's not a fancy place by any means, but it does the job and fills my Japanese food craving without breaking the bank.

Stopped by for lunch with a friend. The fish smelled and so we didn't take more than a couple bites, paid, and left. Would definitely not recommend.

I have been going to Kabuki for over 20 years. They have quality food for the price range they fall under. Always good service. Their new location on the corner of San Gabriel Blvd and Colorado is great! Park downstairs, off Colorado- it's hard to get in and out of the lot on San Gabriel when it's full. Happy hour ends at 6:00pm and starts again at 8:30 for late-night happy hour. They have a pretty extensive HH menu.
