I love matcha green tea ice cream but never had a chance to try the soft serve version. I was skeptical that I would like it because every time I try matcha green tea anything, it would taste more like vanilla. I was shopping with my brother in Pasadena when I noticed the tea shop I loved was replaced with this store. I felt a calling so I decided to act on it and try it. To my surprise, I loved it! The ceremony grade matcha green tea soft serve was semi sweet that didn't overpower the bitterness that I loved! I tried to finish the whole cone by myself but couldn't. I would suggest asking them for an extra cone to split it after snapping a quick pic for the gram.

Came here with my friend after eating at the nearby burrito place. We were looking for dessert after wandering through the different shops in this area. We saw "matcha" and were sold instantly haha. The girl at the register was super friendly and helpful. She answered our questions and even offered us samples of the soft serve without us even asking. The matcha soft serve itself was amazing, on point with other matcha places in LA and OC. I do love that they add the little cookie toppings. It's such a small thing but I think the presentation and experience it adds makes all the difference. Price-wise, it's comparable to other places. I personally would love it if it were slightly cheaper, but I understand smaller businesses need to price accordingly to stay afloat. Overall, highly recommend for matcha lovers. Would definitely come back once I'm in the area again.

Matcha Kone continues to impress me with their matcha confections! I am a matcha enthusiast and find the potency and flavor of the matcha here a true delight, living up to its name. Though I prefer to have mochi and rice balls/ red bean on my self serve, I definitely think this place makes up for not having these toppings with the superb flavor of the self serve.

The ice cream tastes Good. But its good to be true, it has hole inside like a donut, small portion and not Whole, little bit pricey for the ice cream. Hope i can post the pictures for proof.

This is one of my go to places for matcha desserts and drinks! I love their matcha soft serve-- the matcha flavor is not overpowering and I love that it's creamy and not too sweet. I also tried their matcha iced latte and I give it a !!! First sip and you'll know that they're using authentic matcha!

Super yummy! Matcha flavor is strong but not too over powering. I opted in the matcha swirl and it was incredible. The little toppings shown in the photo are a cute additional touch. My favorite part is the consistency and texture of the soft serve. Icyyyy and creamy but not too soft. If youve ever had an "ice milk" - it taste just like that. Mmmmmmm. It's a little on the pricier side, but I would definitely buy it again - especially to cool off this August summer heat wave!

This ice cream is so creamy and smooth with strong green tea flavour. It goes well with red beans and mochi. It is definitely a good choice especially when you crave matcha ice cream. Although it's a bit overpriced, I'll come again because of the green tea flavour. Can't wait when there's a discount.
