I’ve been coming here for years for the beef plate beef kebab. The food is great. The salad is also top-notch as well as the nice air conditioning dining area for those hot days. If you want you could even sit outside in the patio either way it’s an all-around good experience and a good place to eat good healthy food
I decided to try this place for the first time, and I purchased a chicken shawarma wrap. I was completely turned off by the taste. You would think they would at least put some type of sauce in the wrap. It was dry and tasteless. This is my first and last time coming here.

So I'm leaving a dated review. I grew up in love with this place. It was my go to whenever I lived in Pasadena. The business was booming, fresh and fast. The owner who passed away God rest his soul. Was firm but always kind to me. The new current owner is like his father but I hope he hasn't strayed to far from the path. When I see the prices it saddens me. They are very high however, the food was fantastic with lines out the door at lunch. TBH I'm surprised that they never created more because I would easily invest in the same model in my hometown. Anyway no negative just lots of love.

This place is AMAZING!!! I’ve been coming here for years. The food is DELICIOUS, staff is nice and even when you have to wait in line you don’t wait long because they are well organized. I’m a LIFER.

Delicious! I had the lamb wrap and shared a side of baba ghanoush. Both were excellent. Very fresh, and the lamb was perfectly cooked. It's a shame I don't live in CA. If I did, I'd eat at Koko's all the time!

Have been coming here for well over 20 years and honestly I'm a picky eater, but everything that comes on any of the plates I devour. Where it's the salad, the hummus, the protein (which ever you choose lamb, chichen, beef (I never had the tofu or vegan options)). I think everything always taste fresh never frozen and all the meat are always super tender. Even the service is super fast, if there is a long line out there door that's probably honestly a 10 minute wait. I can't say enough positive things about this place.
