I could barely taste the coffee in the option that was supposed to be the most strong coffee served in a small cup. Nevertheless, I liked the vibe and the atmosphere. Friendly staff. Kudos! (Hence the 3 stars) However, I was kinda surprised I didn't see the American flag representing the freedom of speech that allow you to display those Marxist left-ideological flags. Why is that? Genuine question.

Philz Coffee is a franchise company coffeehouse located within The Common Plaza in Pasadena. They specialize in customized coffee blends, made from sustainably sourced green beans from around the world, and skillfully roasted in their roasting facility in Oakland, CA.
We have never tried this coffee franchise before but to our surprise they exceeded our expectation. They have a good and interesting coffee blends. I had a hot Philtered Soul, a medium & balanced blend of hazelnut, maple and caramel. It was bloody PERFECT in taste and aroma. To top it off, I added a fresh flaky Chocolate Croissant.
Service was on point despite its multiple orders from local customers. Interior atmosphere was chill. Free wifi. Prices were competitive and fair. Staff were competent and professional. Overall, it’s a nice coffee shop and definitely recommend. I shall return.
