Tea and these potato buns with mushrooms were really delicious!

Such a shame that the young 20 something kiddies that work there in the evening think it's ok to tell at customers and tell them they're stupid. Shame on Philz Coffee.

The young man in his early 20's needs to be trained in customer relations and how to properly talk to customers. Today is my last day in this store. Shame on Philz for not properly setting rules for their young employees.

The kids that work here are awesome. It's probably the best service in all of Los Angeles County.

Sorry, but every sense they're were given a raise in pay, they became entitled with a attitude. My review update has went from 5 stars to one. I will be deleting the app on my phone today.

I could barely taste the coffee in the option that was supposed to be the most strong coffee served in a small cup. Nevertheless, I liked the vibe and the atmosphere. Friendly staff. Kudos! (Hence the 3 stars)
However, I was kinda surprised I didn't see the American flag representing the freedom of speech that allow you to display those Marxist left-ideological flags. Why is that? Genuine question.

Coffee is not a phase, it’s a lifestyle. That being said let’s start this fantastic review.

Philz Coffee is a franchise company coffeehouse located within The Common Plaza in Pasadena. They specialize in customized coffee blends, made from sustainably sourced green beans from around the world, and skillfully roasted in their roasting facility in Oakland, CA.

We have never tried this coffee franchise before but to our surprise they exceeded our expectation. They have a good and interesting coffee blends. I had a hot Philtered Soul, a medium & balanced blend of hazelnut, maple and caramel. It was bloody PERFECT in taste and aroma. To top it off, I added a fresh flaky Chocolate Croissant.

Service was on point despite its multiple orders from local customers. Interior atmosphere was chill. Free wifi. Prices were competitive and fair. Staff were competent and professional. Overall, it’s a nice coffee shop and definitely recommend. I shall return.

I came in on a Saturday and by the time my coffee was ready it felt like Wednesday. Overwhelmed with mobile orders. Not worth it.

I really got a Pasadena, but this location was super cute. I had a work meeting. We met in the courtyard. It was shaded really nice and I had such a lovely oat milk rosé latte. It was delicious.

I met Phil a little over a decade ago when they opened their Palo Alto location on Middlefield road down the street from my then house. I'm not sure that location is still there but I absolutely loved the casual bluegrass musicians who would jam outside it summer evenings. I subsequently introduced a musician friend to the coffee and he was able to perform at his San Francisco locations some live sets. Talked to Phil again and he knew exactly who I was talking about. Haven't frequented the establishment since relocating to the Inland Empire in 2014, not many locations here yet then. I just jumped on to say that I am happy they're expanding in So. Cal. I will try the Pasadena location only if I can find parking though. Sounds like it's a lot harder to park in the area than back in the day when I lived in the South Lake Avenue neighborhood. A location closer to my home would be great. Somewhere between Rancho Cucamonga and Pasadena. I would like to request Claremont or Glendora please. Somewhere near the Claremont Colleges would be an ideal place for them to open. I miss the great atmosphere, special drinks, and friendly service.

Parking: I just won't patronize any places without free easy parking anymore because I don't have to near me. So I probably won't frequent Glendale or Pasadena. Please open more convenient locations
