While the prix fixe price may seem high, the quality of the food and the unique experience make it worth a visit, especially for a special occasion. The indoor space is small but covered in British memorabilia, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. Guests can also try the tea/bites boxes, which come with an assortment of delights. The menu features a selection of sweet and savory items, all freshly prepared on-site using a traditional AGA stove, including smoked trout and avocado toast with a twist, fennel-apple salad, and pear-ginger tea. It is noted that all produce comes from local farms. Guests are expected to adhere to a dress code, with ladies wearing dresses or skirts and gentlemen in suits. Reservations are required and can only be made one week in advance. The owners have been doing this for 50 years and put a lot of thought into each detail.
