Very good ice cream. Nice place to go after dinner for desert.

Came here on a weekend in the evening after FIFA Club World Cup game Monterey vs. Club Atlético River Plate. Line moved fast. Staff was welcoming and offered samples without being pushy.

Tried a few flavors before ordering

Scoop was about $6.50 but quality justifies it. You taste real ingredients.

Small space inside, limited seating. Street benches nearby work fine.

Service was fast, place was clean, and the flavors are unlike anything at regular ice cream shops.

Worth the stop if you're in Pasadena. I’ll be back.

Salt & Straw Pasadena absolutely delivered. The Double Fold Vanilla was to die for — rich, creamy, and insanely satisfying. Honestly, worth the trip just for that flavour alone.

They let you sample different flavours (which is dangerous in the best way), and the scoop sizes were super generous. Staff were friendly and patient, even with a line. If you’re in the area and even remotely into ice cream, go. Just go.

So I love love love Salt & Straw, but my favorite time of year is March so I can get all my yummy cereal flavors, and this year they brought back Snap & Crackle Marshmallow Treats which is my FAVORITE! But unfortunately when I went to pick up some pints, they were already sold out and it wasn’t even the end of the month yet. Literally devastating (yes, I am dramatic when it comes to my ice cream). Luckily though, my ice cream baristas saved the day! One filled up a few double scoop cups for me, and the other one, Camille (Angel from Ice Cream Heaven) called the Americana location to see how many pints they had left in case I wanted to make another stop. Truly gold star service. 11/10! Thank you 🙏🏻

Salt and Straw has been my favorite ice cream place, regardless of the location. I’ve been working in Pasadena more so I stop by for ice cream every chance I get. However, I don’t think I’ll be going to this particular location any more. The servers/cashiers aren’t the friendliest. I’ve been there a few times and every time I visit, they look annoyed to be there or pick who they want to be kind to. At first I thought maybe they were having a bad day, so I tipped them extra as they watched, hoping that’ll change their mood. Even then, the annoyed looks continued. It’s definitely uncomfortable. Safe to say I will no longer go to this location.

Soooooo yummy. I got my regulars, strawberry balsamic pepper, and honey lavender. Soooo yummy. Plus, since they let ya taste test, I had to try the very weird one with fried crickets in it. Yikes!!!! Lol but guess what? ....IT WAS ACTUALLY GOOD. lol
I didn't realize they had so many stores in California,I thought they were only in Pasadena. So cool. Plllllease Salt and Straw come to Montana. You can put some ? and ? in some new seasonal flavors. ?

No customer service. The kids helping customers are not trained to be polite. ???

I was very sad that it was different from the tasting. I didn't get any insect chocolate. ? I have to compare it to the branch in San Diego. I went there once or twice a month at that time and was never disappointed. Bye-bye Pasadena.

This location in Pasadena is not as busy as the others in San Diego or Anaheim, but mostly the same seasonal flavours are there. (There were two unavailable the day I went.). Had a pumpkin spice come along with the ice cream. The cone was different, I personally like the regular sugar cone better.

Love Salt and Straw! The employees are very nice and will allow you to sample as many flavors as you'd like... there are so many to choose from. We had the malted cookie dough, salted caramel, and fudgy brownie in waffle cones... both were absolutely delicious. The only downside is the lack of seating. There are only 2 small stools inside, with no tables or chairs inside or outside.

Ice cream is great and the staff are friendly but there's close to no seating which is challenging when visiting with family. They can consider having outdoor tables and chairs like the coffee shop next door..inside just two seats you can't move. Made the visit disappointing because of lack of comfort.
