Ordered a caked from this bakery. They had me write the name that should have been on the cake in the receipt to make sure they got it right. When they delivered the cake and we opened it at the party, the name on the cake was misspelled!! Very upsetting that they are not careful with the final product delivered or that they at least don't double check their work. We paid over $220 for that birthday cake!

We ordered our wedding cake from Takes the Cake and we could not have been more pleased. Our guests loved the cake as much as we did and the customer service was outstanding. We are preparing to celebrate our one year anniversary and will be ordered another small cake for the celebration. Why freeze the top layer when you can have a whole new fresh cake! Highly recommend.

Ordered a birthday cake for a friend that was half carrot and half red velvet. The carrot cake portion of the cake was delicious and moist. The red velvet portion however was literally burnt at the bottom and very dry. I am shocked that they would actually give a paying customer burnt cake. We ended up having to completely remove the red velvet portion at the bottom in order to serve the carrot cake portion only.
The best bakery in town! I got to witness the owner give back to the community this morning and she didn’t even hesitate!! I will forever support this small business!!! I’m recommending this bakery to everyone now!
