We loved our experience here! The staff was very kind and the food was amazing. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning too. I definitely recommend this place for a special dinner or celebration! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The OpenTable reservations and the hotel's own reservations are untrustworthy, if not deliberately deceitful. I recently tried to get a reservation for 2 on Saturday evening and was told that my only choices were 5:30 PM or 7:45 PM. I opted for 5:30 PM. When I left at 7:15 PM there were 8 vacant tables for 2 persons. This is hardly the way to attract repeat customers.

We celebrated my wife's 65th birthday at the Royce. They did a fantastic job making her feel special with a personalized birthday cake. The Royce is a perfect place for special occasions for medium to large size groups.

The food and service was excellent at The Royce ! The staff was amazing and so was the food. The rack of lamb and Mac n cheese was perfect. The desserts and mocktails were delicious. I will definitely be back.

I have been dining at this establishment for several times throughout these years and I have never experienced a poorly designed and prepared meal like I did this time and it was a New Year's Eve pre-fixe meal. First course after the amuse is a bowl of dark lukewarm soup with beans and whatever else is in there, it's almost like the one that you will find in the Whole Foods self serving alley. Second comes a salad with not much vegetable and three pieces of grapefruit. Then comes a sea urchin toast at the size of an eraser. Main course for both steak filet and duck breast of our choices are fine. Deserts are definitely bought from Whole Foods where I see the exactly Tiramisu and the cheesecake. Not that I don't like the Whole Foods but it's a dining establishment inside the Langham hotel. Service is very good.

My friend and I chose to celebrate our birthdays at the Langham because we both realized that we both are from the 626 & have NEVER been!!! We wanted to celebrate in a nice steakhouse in our sweats & the Royce was the PERFECT place!!!! Mario, Khristy & Alejandro were just such a dream!!! The Langham is extremely lucky to have a person like Mario running the Royce!!! His luxury hospitality expertise has blessed MANY hotels and restaurants all over LA!!! Khristy was just such a peach. Her light is so bright & her energy was just so refreshing. Alejandro was super helpful and attentive with our hot waters, lemon, & tissue (our sinuses were acting up). We dined at the Royce on a Tuesday & the restaurant was FULL! It's such a beautiful restaurant, the ambiance and staff is make you feel like family & the food was DELISH!!!! We ordered the wagyu ribeye & a ton of sides. EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection! We will definitely be back! We can't wait to come back!

Our entire experience at the Royce was amazing, from Mario greeting us at the door and pouring our wine, our wonderful service from Christy, and the amazing food. We have been to the Royce many times and we all said this was the best meal yet. Only complaint was the noise--it was hard to have a conversation when we first got there, but then it did quiet down some. We will be back!

We celebrated my parents' 66th wedding anniversary with 7 of us. We chose the 5- course tasting menu to make it extra special. The food was prepared beautifully and creatively, with generous servings! Our favorite part was when the chef came out and explained every course to us. It was a very special night. Great way to celebrate something special!

My daughter does not eat red meat and is allergic to seafood. There was not anything on the Prix Fix menu that she could eat. She eats chicken but it was not on the menu. After explaining this to the waiter, he spoke to his boss and we were told that they would make a salad for my daughter for $75.00. Outrageous! We ended up having Christmas dinner in our room from room service. We had sandwiches. Merry Christmas!!!!

We selected the non preset dinner menu when booking our reservation, this option was unavailable when we were seated. The food overall was extremely underwhelming and definitely not worth the price.

I visited this restaurant for Christmas Eve dinner last year and had a wonderful experience, so I decided to come back again this year. However, the Christmas Eve 4-course menu was $215 per person, and it was honestly very disappointing for the price. The first course was an average-sized soup, and the second course was just a very basic salad. For a special 4-course holiday dinner, having such a plain salad as one of the courses felt extremely underwhelming and overpriced. The third course was the main dish (meat or fish), and the last course was dessert. In the end, it really felt like we only had one real dish — the main course — and I left feeling quite upset. It wasn't just us, either. I noticed other guests complaining to the staff as well. Compared to last year, the quality has dropped significantly. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be returning.

I would give this a 10/10, and I don't say that lightly. My son and I went here for Christmas Eve Prix Fixe, and it exceeded our expectations. Awesome service, too. Every dish was near perfect, from the bread and butter and the amuse bouche, straight through to dessert. And you know what's more? The folks who come to this place are nice, too. It just felt warm and inviting. And a great way to glam up a special event, and it would be an amazing date spot. Brunch is fantastic, too. A hidden gem in the City of Angels.

Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience last night. The prix fixe meal was $215 per person (gratuity not included) and we had hoped for an elevated experience. We had the sea bass and my wife and daughter had the filet. The entrees were pre cooked and served cold. The salad was over salted and the soup was bland. The atmosphere and service was chaotic and did not have the ambience one would expect.
