"This place is like a dive bar disguised as speakeasy" I had high hopes for this Speakeasy. Unfortunately it fell short in all aspects besides the ambiance. Food - we ordered taquitos and a side of fry's. Tasted like store brand frozen food heated up. Drinks-The Killer Kitty, a whisky sour, and their strawberry surprise . Honestly wasn't what I was expecting out of a speakeasy the ingredients weren't fresh and could barely taste the alcohol. If you're in Pasadena and want to enjoy a good speakeasy I'd recommend going down the street to "ladies & Gentlemen"

A password is required to enter or get hints from the bouncer. The inside atmosphere was reminiscent of a prohibition vibe because of the red lighting and decor. I ordered the Kitty Killer as it seemed like it would be a nice, fruity, smooth drink

Super fun ! I love that it was kind of mysterious and you have to send an email to receive the "password". Then reciting the password to the mysterious doorman wondering if he's gonna let you in or just tell you that you're crazy. Upon entering the place is dimly lit except for the wall of spirits. The red lighting makes you feel like you're in a vampire bar. The drinks were good and priced fair. There is a dress code. No hats and no sports gear. I'm gonna guess no shorts either. The email wil tell you. A t-shirt , long pants, and sneakers are fine though because that's what I was wearing. I would definitely re-visit the next time I'm in the area.

I really enjoyed the Strawberry Surprise and Cat Killer cocktails--they're totally my kind of drinks. It was super busy on a Friday night, and the vibe was perfect for a date.

You need a password to get in. In general it has really cool vibes especially if its your first time seeing everything. It was also quite crowded the time I went and there was somewhat of a wait to get some drinks which were mediorce and kinda pricey.

I'm not sure if I would call it a speakeasy, but it's still a very cool bar to visit if you're in the area! It was fun to figure out the password to get in (the bouncer was funny and made it playful), and the dim lighting really creates that cool atmosphere. I liked the drinks we got, and the bartender was so nice despite how busy it was! Definitely a good experience, but there are better bars for socializing in the area.

Enjoyed this cute speakeasy in Pasadena! You enter through the back and the bouncer will let you in if you know the password for the night. All drinks are ordered at the bar, there is plenty of tables and sitting areas but can be difficult to find because of how crowded it gets. The music is a bit loud, so it is hard to talk to people if you are in a big group.

I came by on a Saturday night around 7 and there was no wait to get in. You need a password to enter where you could find on the website or email. They have lots of seating and service was quick. The ambiance was nice, the whole bar was lit up red. They have a menu with different drinks and I ordered the strawberry surprise cocktail. The cocktail was sweet and not too strong. I also tried the new bee's knees and it came in a super cute bear cup. It has a strong citrus flavor but it wasn't too bad. Overall, this is a nice speakeasy to visit if you are around the area.

Had such a good time here! The bartender was really cool and accommodating. At midnight, they gave our group a bottle of champagne to celebrate my best friend's birthday. We had a group of and we were able to get the corner to ourselves.

Cool place, a bit difficult to plan a party. Seating is on a first come first serve basis so I made sure to get there when they opened. When I approached the section that I wanted my group to sit in I was told it was reserved. I was not happy about that since I had gone in earlier in the week to check out the place and ask questions. You can not bring in decorations or desserts to celebrate a birthday. The bar manager was quite accommodating and arranged a few tables together so my large group could sit together. They have really good mix drink choices and a full bar. Their food selection is all fried food. The music was nice. The DJ started about 930p and had a good play list. I think it's a good place for small groups or a date night, but certainly not for a large party.

We ended up coming here after we found out that they yassified Der Rathskeler (big old bummer to be playing hip hop with full lights on in a weird, creepy basement like why??) Anyways. It wasn't hard to find because you really just need to ask the bouncer who is standing outside of the exit. He will give you a riddle to the password and then tell you where the entrance is. The entrance is cool and you walk through the kitchen to get to the bar, but honestly that's where the experience stops being "speakeasy". We went on a Friday and it was loud and EDM-y, with a mixed clientele. The seating was really weird, it was like restaurant seating which doesn't give off speakeasy vibes. No cute nooks or booths, it didn't feel intimate at all. The drinks were lackluster and it was just an overall MEH experience. This place could use a facelift and dress code.
