Teddy bear tea was a lovely time, lots of kids and grown ups in their nice attire. Service was great and Santa was authentic and the puppet show and getting a Paddington Bear was a highlight for my daughters! Such a special fun memory. Food was great too!
Enjoyed teddy bear tea with Santa. Manager dusty is very sweet and ensures all guests are enjoying their experience.
The Langham has a truly special location in the heart of the most beautiful portion of Pasadena so you cannot go wrong with having tea overlooking the grounds. The service was as anticipated and exceptional. One note is that they sat our party next to the harpist who was playing quite lovely Christmas music which would have been nice however it was so incredibly loud in my ear the entire time we had our tea, to the point our party had a very difficult time conversing. I think if they took out the center table next to the harpist it would bode well in the future. BEsides this one complaint I felt everything qwuite exceptional and as anticipated.
overpriced for what was on offer. Servers were nice but seemed inexperienced, would expect more from this hotel atthis price point
Dusti and her team of exceptional servers helped us to enjoy an afternoon tea celebrating our 20th anniversary. Even after the delicious treats included with the prix fixe they presented us with a special cake to celebrate our occasion. The tea selection was unique and fun to select from the variety of options. We will do this again!
Excellent service from start to finish! Heidi was great, and the harpist plays the best songs!
Fabulous. Great venue, great ambiance. Loved the food, the tea selection. Heidi our server was wonderful. The harp was super.
High Tea at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena is a lovely experience. It is expensive but very nice.
Everything was lovely. BUT the restaurant was freezing cold and we asked more than once to heat it up. Didn't work. Made it a bit uncomfortable.
Such a great experience with high tea at the Lobby Lounge! The sandwiches are nice and tea is amazing! The ambience is elegant and relaxing by sitting near the window. I will definitely comeback again.

My friends and I decided to make this our first afternoon tea experience. This is a beautiful hotel. We loved everything about it. Easy to find the hotel and valet. I didn't see any signs to the Lobby Lounge (first time there), so I asked the concierge. They don't seat you until your whole party arrives. The menu is explained, which is great. They make the scones, sandwiches and deserts for everyone, so you share the experience of what you are eating. I wasn't a fan of the scones, but I was a fan of the lemon curd topping made available :). My favorite was the salmon sandwich. The deserts were cute, but not good, IMHO. I was disappointed with the price. I called beforehand asking about the price. Was told $100. This is correct, but they don't tell you about taxes, 20% service charge, then the tip. It's probably on the website, but that is why I call. I'd rather talk to someone. It turned out to be $160 pp (this included tip). They did tell me about valet being partially validated = $18, plus tip. So this afternoon tea is actually about $200 pp. I would definitely recommend trying this, just know going in how much it will cost. This is more of a one time experience for us :)
We had an absolutely lovely High Tea! While the food was delicious, the service was EXCEPTIONAL!!!!
We had a pleasant experience with a party of seven. We liked that we sat at a round table which gave us plenty of room. The piano player was a nice touch. The tea sandwiches were average. The bread didn't seem very fresh and the egg salad was very bland. The pastries were pretty and the scones were very good.
great bar & bartenders, thanks herbert!

This was one of the best afternoon teas I've ever had, and trust me, I not only go out to tea, but I throw them as well. The hotel's ambiance is beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming. Our server, Jenny, was extremely accommodating and kind. They didn't have any decaf black tea, so I asked for a pot of hot water. Not only did she bring it to me, she kept it refilled. All the food, from the scones to the desserts, was fabulous. We were especially impressed with the sandwiches, and it was difficult to pick which one was the best; the chicken salad and prosciutto were exceptional. They change the menu to suit the seasons, and that makes me want to go back. Before our tea, they asked if any of our party had dietary restrictions and if there would be children joining us. I was impressed with their mindfulness. Since we were celebrating both my birthday and my friend's, they brought us out a special dessert.
