It was my first time visiting the restaurant. It was a set menu for valentines. For two people, we paid $500 and the food was not worth $500. The menu had a salad, a small entree and a dessert. The dinner was not fulfilling and we grabbed tacos afterwards. The service was good and ambiance was nice. But dinner was not worth $500 for small portions.
Always amazing service and ambience. Favorite hotel to visit and stay. For sure highly recommend for business and pleasure. Close to all Pasadena stores and restaurants.
We enjoyed the seating, peaceful like been on vacation , the menu has offerings for every appetite, our service Amy was very attentive, checking with us several times making sure we had everything we needed. We keep coming back to The Terrace at The Langham for the ambience, the good food and excellent service
always love coming here and dining alfresco by the pool. They're dog friendly and I always bring my dog. Staff is always very friendly and accomadating. Great for casual meals as well as special occasions.
Wonderful atmosphere excellent service and food was outstanding. Nice selection and great brunch. We chose the brunch buffet and it was excellent.
If you're going to the Langham, breakfast is definitely the better choice. Dinner, on the other hand, was extremely quiet to the point of feeling dull and uninspired. The food didn't live up to expectations either. We ordered the burger, curry pasta, yellowtail sashimi, and the Caesar salad, and everything was very basic and bland, lacking flavor. The bill was especially disappointing, paying nearly $300 for what we ordered felt completely unreasonable for the quality. Unfortunately, the experience missed the mark for us. The atmosphere was dark and almost depressing, with very little energy. Service was fine but nothing memorable, and it moved at a slow pace. Overall, it wasn't a good experience, especially considering the price point. I wouldn't return for dinner.
We sat by the pool. It was beautiful and quiet enough to have lovely conversations! Our waiter was fabulous and split the delicious French onion soup and chicken sandwich!
Dined poolside as the evening was mild. Pretty. Service was okay, we'd asked for bread, none was brought to the table until we asked again when the main plates were delivered. We ordered the burger with fries and the filet mignon. Both tasty. The filet was accompanied by broccolini, it was tough, the stems had not been peeled and it was undercooked. The mashed potatoes, grilled onion and sauce though were well executed. Desserts are wonderful! The Lemon Almond cake was heaven as was the Dulcey Chocolate Brownie.
It was a lovely setting for a most enjoyable lunch. I look forward to exploring the other restaurants at this grand and historic hotel.
We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I don't want to throw anyone under the bus. They were short staffed. We had a reservation but that did not help as shortly after we arrived many others showed up. But we ended up being over looked and service took forever. Much more happened after that which was truly unfortunate but I will not carry on. We are thankful people as we know how blessed we are to have a meal when many people don't. I would just say that the Langham hotel needs to improve their restaurant service at the terrace. I would like to acknowledge Gina a server at the restaurant who tried hard to make up for our terrible experience none of which was caused by her. She is an asset to the Langham Hotel.

We always enjoy eating at the Terrace. The food is delicious, the space and view quite lovely, and the staf are the very best.
Service and reservation was excellent. The noise level was too high. Perhaps because of the flooring. But music was too high. And musical choice was not fitting. Who do you think your customers are at these prices. Not the young rockers. The meal was good but couldve been better with a little more options. Some of it was bland. The crudo and the Steak was excellent. The Pear salad was not enough. The Scallops couldve used a better sauce. Very tough to make a top notch risotto. The Lobster was tough. All in all it was a good Xmas dinner. Again service was great
I am regular at The Langham Terrace, Royce & Tap room but today was very different. Service was horrible, it took forever to get our drinks, refills for coffee (not even spoon with coffee cup) to stir my sugar. Valet took over 35 minutes to return our car. A big disappointment today.
The buffet food selection was extensive. The prime rib at the carving station was generously served and delicious. The wait service was attentive. A very nice experience overall.
Enjoyed the experience.
A bit longer wait than expected to get seated, even though we had reservations
