I dined twice at the terrace. Breakfast (breakfast buffet) and dinner (King Salmon). Food was delicious and service even better. My server, Sarah, is a gem. She made a difference in my experience. You don’t get many servers like her and I’m so grateful to have had her twice. Two other folks assisting her Jerson and Charlie also were friendly, helpful, and courteous.
Would return again and would request Sarah
The first night at dinner it took 45 min to 1 hr for our meal, but the food was very good
We enjoyed high tea here on a Saturday afternoon and it was really lovely from start to finish. They offered vegan, gluten-free, and regular options, and everything we tried was delicious. The tea selection was great and the atmosphere was elegant, beautiful, and perfect for a special afternoon.
The service was attentive and very friendly, making the whole experience even better. It is definitely a bit of a splurge, but worth it if you are looking for a memorable high tea experience in Pasadena.
The Langham Hotel itself is stunning, with historic grounds, a beautiful outdoor courtyard and pool, and even a speakeasy-style bar right next to the Terrace restaurant where high tea is served. Would highly recommend all around.
The Terrace at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena, is a breakfast experience worth every penny and more. Nestled in the elegance of one of Pasadena’s finest hotels, this restaurant delivers a morning meal that sets the standard for luxury dining without feeling excessive. The menu offers a perfect balance of classic favorites and refined creations, from the fluffiest buttermilk pancakes to perfectly poached eggs with velvety hollandaise. Every bite is crafted with care, and the ingredients taste fresh and high-quality, making each dish feel like a special indulgence.
What truly sets The Terrace apart, however, is the service. The staff anticipates your needs before you even have to ask, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion. They remember small details, whether it’s how you like your coffee or offering helpful recommendations based on your preferences. This level of genuine hospitality surpasses anything you’ll find at other high-end hotels in the area.
While the meal may come at a premium, it’s an exceptional value considering the setting, quality, and overall experience. The sunlit patio, framed by lush gardens, only enhances the ambiance. If you’re looking for the best breakfast in Pasadena, The Terrace is an absolute must-try.
The Terrace at the Langham Hotel is a beautiful spot for a special occasion brunch, offering a peaceful oasis amidst Pasadena’s urban busyness. Overlooking the pool, the restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, making for a lovely setting, especially on a sunny morning.
We went for Sunday brunch and had made a reservation in advance—a must, as it gets busy. Most guests opt for the buffet, though an à la carte menu is available. While the buffet isn’t massive, it offers a solid selection of breakfast favorites, including an omelet station, pastries, bacon, sausages, eggs Benedict, and breakfast sandwiches. The salad and yogurt station was a standout, and the fresh fruit selection was plentiful.
Service was excellent—our server made sure our teas were always refilled, and the staff was attentive without being intrusive. Parking is around $15 with validation, which is reasonable for a high-end hotel.
After brunch, we took a stroll through the Japanese garden next to the café, which was a perfect way to unwind and extend the experience. A relaxing and elegant way to spend a Sunday afternoon after church. Highly recommend!
I'm not sure why this place has such low ratings. I was staying at the hotel, so a hot breakfast was included.
It was a Sunday, and on weekends, breakfast turns into brunch, served until 1 PM. You can choose between a buffet or à la carte options. They offer a great variety, including a live egg station where you can have eggs prepared to your liking. I chose the Eggs Benedict with spinach and mushrooms, and it was delicious!
Soft drinks like coffee, tea, and juice are included with the brunch buffet, but anything else, such as cappuccinos, lattes, or alcohol, comes at an extra cost.
The service was friendly, and I loved the ambiance. Since it was around Christmas time, the entire atmosphere was festive and lovely. The place was busy with people celebrating, including ladies' gatherings, birthdays, and gift exchanges.
We ate brunch here in October 2024. Excellent, very fresh food. The omlettes and Eggs Benedict/Florentine, made to order, were the best we have ever had. Service was perfect. Fresher squeezed orange juice. The espresso great. We sat outside overlooking the pool on a glorious Southern California autumn afternoon. Nice quiet atmosphere, good for conversation. Looking forward to returning soon.
Excellent venue, nice and spacious. The food is quite good with fresh ingredients. The food is sizable. We had French Onion soup which was tasty with thick layer of cheese. Cop Salad was ok. Grilled chinchitos pepper the peppers were tough and chewy. Tuna Poke bowl, the fish was good and French. Fish and chip the fish was nice and crispy and they were very generous with chips. Grilled Chicken sandwich was also delicious. The service was a bit weak maybe they don’t have enough serves.

Ive been eating here quite often during the last few months... And the service and attitude of the people working there is noticeably rude and racist this visit. We were greeted by the host who speaks english with a really big accent that ask us "are we staying at the hotel?"...we can't understand her question due to her accent... And she repeated herself yelling out the same question to us one more time... And we said no. But afterwards... I passed by the host stand... The exact same thing happened to 2 American men... She nicely repeated her question slowly. Then to the waitress... First she completely forgot our coffee... Follow with a long wait for the food because they were busy... Then towards the end of the meal... We saw the manager stopped by to touch tables and apologize for the long wait for food... But never stopped at our table. And when we got the bill... They tag on an automatic 20% tip to it... We asked the waitress is that for a party of 6 or more... She said yes... But we only have 5 people... Then she pointed at our togo order of food... And said because we got an order of breakfast to go... So it counts as 6...?? Are you kidding me? And she rudely said i guess i can take it out if you want. Eye opening the kind of service you get at a 5 star hotel. Havent mention one breakfast didnt come out correctly either after the long wait. Im pretty sure the changed management or something because even the breakfast changed.

We came here for a wedding anniversary lunch. The service was great. Mo was just the right amount of attentive. It felt so relaxing to sit near the pool. The stone fruit salad and the steak were delicious. We ordered the almond cake and brownie dessert that were gorgeous to look at and out of this world. Then, they surprised us with chocolate-covered strawberries for our anniversary.

One of our many times staying at the Langham and enjoying the Sunday Brunch. Our hostess, Constance was friendly, welcoming and showed us to our table. It was especially nice that she spoke French so my wife could have a conversation with her. The end of a perfect three days.
Today is my husbands birthday and I wanted to do something special for him. This experience was so incredible particularly because Rodolfo is so kind and funny. The food is great here and the environment magnificent. Looking forward to coming again and spending more time. My husband had a great time for sure!!
We celebrated our Anniversary here and they really made us feel special. We had the Short Ribs and the Salmon which were both wonderful! We love coming here to celebrate special occasions or attend events. What a gem in Pasadena we have here!
The description of several dishes that we ordered did not match what we received, and also, the prices were different on the final check compared to what they were on the menu. When this happens on 1 dish, I'm prepared to look the other way, but when it happens on the starter, entree, dessert and even one of the drinks, they need to figure that out.
Not a busy evening (Labor Day), steak was really good, rigatoi was good, but nothing to rave about. Server, Jordan, was nice, and kept up with us, although it wasn't busy, but none the less, he was good. Quiet, easy, and relaxing.
