Classic lamb curry and chicken vindaloo were deliciously great... I don't know about the rest of the items... Momos were good... Naan and rice like any other restaurant l, ordinary.
Mango lassi al right too...
Apricot naan is just bad
Had a wonderful dinner here during my first trip to Los Angeles! I specifically wanted to visit because it’s one of the first Nepali restaurants in Southern California. Coming from New York, where I spent a lot of time in Jackson Heights, it immediately made me feel at home.
The atmosphere reminded me of my time enjoying restaurants in Pokhara and Kathmandu. The space is peaceful, artistic, and welcoming. I ordered the thukpa (Nepali noodle soup), roti, and buff momo. As my first meal in Los Angeles, it definitely set the tone for the rest of the trip. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious.
I especially want to highlight the hospitality of the staff. I was served by Raj, who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Since I was in the process of moving from New York and adjusting to the smaller Nepali community in Los Angeles, he was kind enough to offer advice and make me feel welcome. It was also wonderful that the owner took the time to stop by and check in with me personally.
For me, the combination of the food, hospitality, and atmosphere made this a 10/10 experience. Next time I’ll have to try some of the Indian dishes, but for this visit I wanted to fully enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine.
Dherai dherai dhanyabad!

The veal momo at this restaurant needs to be significantly improved, to be honest it is borderline inedible.
The food is always fresh and full of flavor. The energy is calm and the service is friendly and professional. Don't miss out on their lunch specials!

A wonderful homey place to enjoy Himalayan cuisine. You are greeted with warm smiles and tended to very well throughout the meal. Loved the fish curry vindaloo with all the warm spices and was very taken with the chicken tikka masala. There was something more rich and creamy about their recipe compared to other tikka masalas I have eaten. They have a wide variety of flat breads and it was a fun experience to try new types and flavors.

Little break away from whatever you’re doing in Pasadena, great atmosphere and service. I’ll get the chicken tikka masala mild every time and it is more than enough food, combined with best naan I’ve had. Our go to lunch spot!

Loved the phing, the tandoori platter not so much. Meat wasn’t well cooked nor flavourful

We had a lot of food (most of which is unfortunately not pictured)
We loved the chicken kadai, vegetable korma, mutter paneer, vegetable fried rice, garlic naan, and plain naan
Apparently, it might be inconsistent – a previous visit had food that wasn’t as good, but when we went this past Saturday, we all loved the food (the only reason why we’re rating it a 4 out of 5

Each food item we ordered is savory and satisfying, the ambient is cozy and clean and the service is pleasant. Nice place to have a casual and comfort meal.

I used to eat a lot of Indian food when I lived in Singapore, so I’ve always been a big fan. This was my first time trying this style of Indian food in Los Angeles, and it was even better than I expected. Highly recommend this place—every dish was amazing.

Food 4/5. Momos not that flavorful. Samosas are ok, not best flakey crust. Entree paneer masala was good spice for medium and creamy. Very nice staff and quick service.

One of my favorite restaurants after a lifetime in Pasadena. The food is superb, and incredibly unique, compared to what is in other cities. Furthermore, the service feels genuine, and the atmosphere is very nice, with relaxing music being played, as well as tastefully worn decor. My only criticism, if I were forced to give one, would be slightly too little protein in entrees. However, with how much I always order, I still leave stuffed. A true gem of a restaurant by all the most important metrics.

2nd time going here and it was just as delicious as the first time! The staff is very friendly and one particular man was really informative on each dish and which spice level is best for you. Food came out and was full of flavor! Definitely worth the drive.

Went here by chance the first night of the Oasis show. The restaurant was packed but all of the servers were very nice and welcoming. Food was delicious and would recommend checking out a Pasadena gem that has been in the area for 25 years!
