Musty smell super sweet drinks ok service, decent decor. Hip hop turned up loud. I would call it a hip hop bar with a tiki theme.

Bad vibes - Music did not align with the Tiki atmosphere. Way too crowded. Smelled like cat litter. Drinks were not great (mai tai was too sour). We also did not receive utensils with our food. Overall, wouldn’t

The decor was cute and seems like a cool crowd. The drinks were too sweet and not in fun tiki glasses. They also had reggaeton playing which was weird if you’re looking for that true tiki bar vibe. There was also a terrible smell. Maybe like the basement has some mold? I personally probably won’t go back but I can see the draw.

Great place with a lovely vibe!! Killer cocktails and lively music. A bit loud at times but have a few drinks and it won’t bug you anymore. Check it out!

Hostess was rude. Didnt even look at our reservation. Waited 30 minutes no menus, no drinks. Waitress was sweet and kind. Ordered chips, salsa, and guac. Chips were stale and didnt come with salsa. We asked to pay and leave before ordering food. Manager was a a jerk as well. Wouldnt recommend this place to my Mother-in-Law

We waited 10 minutes for a server, then went back to the hostess and asked if she wouldn't mind reminding a server, which she did, and then we waiting another 10 minutes and no one showed. We left and the hostess was apologizing to us as we left and didn't work to solve the issue. We love this place. First time it let us down.

Really disappointed in the food. We used to love to go to the Hollywood location decades ago, and thought we'd try the Pasadena location - thinking our daughter would find the atmosphere fun. The TVs are nice, but that's where it ends. We paid 12 bucks to park in the garage next door, and everything we ordered was bland. Burger was way overcooked and unseasoned, shrimp tacos had no sauce whatsoever, just dry unseasoned shrimp on a corn tortilla with dry cabbage. Chicken fingers were underseasoned and very greasy. Fries were ok. We deeply regret this choice.

The bar was busy and moderately noisy. Our server was amazing—especially since she was the only one! She took care of us with a smile and never left us hanging. Thanks for the sweet date night Barney's!

Resting on their laurels? Booked based on its long history and reputation. Restrooms were absolutely filthy. Food runner wore his mask under his nose. Eggs Benedict were hard boiled (that's a crime). Appalling slow and inattentive service. Sat at 1:00, food arrived at 2:00. The only reason this gets three stars is because the chilaquiles were quite good. To top it off, though, the hostess never checked us in even though I made a point to tell her, making it appear that we no-showed our reservation. Open Table corrected it.

This place is always great. Our table service / waitress was amazing. We got wings / chili nachos / calzone . Everything was 5/5 . Except calzone. The cheese was weird and seemed like it wasn't ok. We asked to take it back and she did it in a great understanding manner. Drinks were awesome , she suggested a drink based on my preference . I will always come here because the overall experience is great. I think I come at least 4-7 / year

Barney's Beanery is a great place to have a beer and a burger. The staff is friendly and very good with customer service. The one drawback for me are all the televisions in the restaurant since every table that I saw had one. While we were there the volume on the big screen was pumped up so loud that it became unpleasant. I don't think most people want to have a play by play of a basketball game being shouted at them while they are trying to eat and have a conversation with their guests. I don't know if this is the normal occurrence, I don't think so but it will keep me away for awhile. I would recommend this restaurant to sports fans.

They could consider to put heaters outside. Also even it's just a regular bar, but I would suggest to serve proper vine and make normal old fashion without tones of ice cubes. Try to make it better guys. Good Luck !
