The place was large and fairly empty. I ordered spicy tuna roll, Philly roll and two pieces of Hamachi. I was surprised the sushi comes as one piece, not two as I am used to. The quality was fine, nothing spectacular. I was hungry, tired and wanted sushi. This was close to my hotel.
I have been going to Tokyo Wako (the chain) for over a decade and I can firmly say that Juan Jose is the best chef I’ve ever had the pleasure to cook my meal. He was so careful to ensure there was flavor in our food, and that my friend’s allergies were all accommodated. He’s so friendly and made the tastiest meal with care and a smile. Ask for him as your chef when you visit!
I don't know how busy this place gets, but I when I went there there were a few people here and there, and my food was delivered speedy-fast, but with more people it would probably take a bit longer. Service was very friendly, and a very nice place in my opinion to sit back and hang out with family or friends.
