Service was slow. One appetizer took about 30min, and it was only 30% or less occupied so it wasn't busy. Drinks was good. But even with happy hour prices, value and experience didn't meet my expectations.

Had reservation for months. Restaurant did not hold reservation. Showed up at reservation time. No tables. 90 minute+ wait. just told us “too bad” and we should try to go somewhere else. We were staying at hotel. No offer for take-out, nothing.

This was by far the worst breakfast I have ever had. I wasn’t super hungry, and decided to just get a side of sausage links, toast, and an orange juice. My father ordered an omelette.First, they gave my dad the wrong meal. He’s not one to complain, and decided he would just eat the scrambled eggs in front of him. Luckily, the server noticed and ended up giving him his omelette. Which was satisfactory at best. The sausage links I ordered were honestly the worst I have ever had in my life. They were so bad. I’m not sure if they just popped them in the microwave and then served them, or what…no one should ever bite into a sausage and have it taste bland and mushy. Needless to say…I ate one of the six sausage links and decided that was enough. They never gave me the toast that I ordered, and forgot the orange juice until I mentioned something before leaving. The ambiance was beautiful. I would recommend sitting out on the patio area. Very pretty. Unfortunately, our experience here was pretty terrible that I can’t even recommend anyone eat here. Overpriced for the worst meal I’ve had in a LONG time. All I can say is I hope lunch/dinner is a much better experience. Do not go here for breakfast. You’re better off going to Starbucks and getting a breakfast sandwich.

Came here after a late night while in the area for business; we were staying in the hotel and I didn't want to walk anywhere. I had an enjoyable evening. I sat outside in the plaza and really enjoyed the general ambience of the fire and the fountains. I had a pretty nice meal - the lemon saffron scallops appetizer was great, and my entree (garlic tofu noodles) was pretty good. There was a minor issue with my dish (they left the tofu out) but it was quickly resolved (brought me a plate of sauteed tofu to mix in) and then they also gave me a free dessert. I tried the sorbet trio which had three fresh fruit sorbets (mango, raspberry and peach) which was delicious although it was a LOT of sorbet - I was expecting small dishes of each, but they were each a full sized dish!

Hit or miss place. Burger was great. But the Salmon Wedge Salad was abysmal. Unappealing piece of Salmon with Iceberg Lettuce. Tomatoes looked like the had been refrigerated too long. Wait Staff is very friendly and attentive. For a hotel restaurant, I would expect a little bit better food quality.

Very nice and elegant restaurant inside of the hotel. The menu is limited but diverse and the kitchen is good (everything I tried so far was fresh and tasty). A bit pricey, but no surprise there. I had lunch here a couple of times, and it was always only a few other dinners. There is also a bar with wide selection of liquors, wine (beer selection is the popular brands).

We ate at Ventanas at the invitation of a friend. It was more expensive than what we're used to, but the food, service, and ambiance were worth the price.

I can’t say enough about Cesar. He is the manager here at the restaurant. He graciously accommodated our very special dietary needs. What a gentleman!

The eggs should be bigger & better quality for the price paid for breakfast & for a hotel of this caliber. Ours were small, the yolks very light; cheap eggs. The fruit bowl is fabulous as was the large, fresh, perfectly cooked English muffin. Last, the iced tea was freshly brewed and delicious. Service was excellent.

So this is all about service and a complete lack of respect to my elderly parents. We are staying at the Westin while in town for the ucla vs usc game so naturally after the game I wanted to take my family out for a late dinner. We arrived at ventanas at 10 pm the kitchen does not shut down until 11 pm. We were sat outside by an employee named "Herber" in the courtyard and promptly forgotten about. We asked for one of the heaters to be lit for my elderly mother multiple times no one ever did. We asked multiple times if we could place an order, multiple times we were told we would be with you in a minute. Finally at approximately 10:50ish the waiter "Herber" and "Sergio" said sorry you can no longer order food because the kitchen is closed. I'm appalled that multiple individuals took it upon themselves to make sure that a family was not served. The owner of Ventanas should be ashamed of his staff for there lack of decorum and general kindness. In my decades of life I have never seen a wait staff or restaurant act so maliciously to make sure someone was not served.
