“Terrific restaurant. Great food in an inviting atmosphere. Exceptional pancakes and coffee. The service was notable for a diner. The seating was comfortable, and the replicas of famous paintings was cool. It is worth mentioning again that the pancakes are head and shoulders above any other that I've tried. I would go out of my way to return to Russell's.“

“I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Skillets! Rafael, our waiter, was incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even better. The food arrived quickly and tasted fantastic. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger, which was delicious and came with a choice of fries, onion rings, or salad. “We ordered 4 Taiyakis for only $12. Then the owner was so sweet! She offered a 5th one for free. Got our fresh Taiyakis after pager rang quickly! All flavors were great: Red bean, apple, custard cream, mango, and chocolate filling within freshly baked crunchy shells. We almost wanted to order another round if we were not on the way of leaving Little Tokyo Market. Must try again next time!

“One of the boba places I tried next to Menya Hanabi. This isn’t a place to really sit down, it is a place to get your drink and go. There are two self serve touch screens where you can place your order, and it is nice that your name will show up on the screen to let you know approximately when your drink is ready. It seems this is a franchise so there are other places that serve the same, but this was my first experience and I think it is worth a try.

I decided to give the waffle a try, my kid enjoyed it. The passion fruit drink I got was decent, but the seeds inside were quite hard.

I like how modern the place is, but it seems to be a lot more pricier than some other places that I have been to in this city. I think my bill for 5-6 drinks and a snack was about $60. I believe I could have gone to another place and max would have been $40.
