Sadly this place closed in November. It was an excellent place.

Such an amazing coffee shop. Rich with culture and a staple of Pasadena. Exceptional coffee. Going to Zona Rosa is a beautiful experience.

As a local resident of Pasadena for the last 31 years, this place as always provided exceptional coffee and outstanding service. Unfortunately I just found out the landlord is kicking Zona Rosa out at the end of Nov. Very sad to see another small local business kicked to the curb in Pasadena. I will be writing multiple letters and emails to Pasadena and the playhouse district to voice my disappointment. I encourage you all to do the same. Hopefully we can save this before they convert this great establishment into another lifeless boba shop.

I will dearly miss you Zona Rosa. Thanks for the Zona Rosa Cappuccinos, the music, the art, Thursday night food trucks, bands in the side ally on warm summer nights. TE AMO!

Cute little cafe next to the Pasadena playhouse. They have a small outside sitting area and and upstairs portion to the place. It is quite a small coffee shop they make good drinks but if you're in a hurry this place isn't the fastest. The coffee car was manned by one dude with one espresso machine so he's limited by that. I would not recommend trying to get a drink here for a plays intermission next door. The time window is too small. They have an excellent cold brew coffee here.

Coffee was pretty good, prices were ok ($3-6 range), ambient is pretty cool. One of the few or only coffee shop in Pasadena that has a Mexican decor. Service was good as well.

I liked this spot! Had a little bit of time before catching a show at the Pasadena Playhouse next door, was craving some coffee so we decided to stop in. The place is bright/spacious and has that comfortable coffeehouse feel to it. The staff that night was friendly and chatty. Judging from their menu, they offer a lot of drinks so it was hard to decide. As we were pressed for time, went for the vanilla latte in a "for here" ceramic mug. Tasted great although I wished it was a bit hotter. I saw that they also offer pastries but will save those for our next visit. Hopefully will be back soon! The Playhouse District boasts a few coffeehouses and can't wait to try them all!

Super cute caffe to sit & enjoy a chat! I got an iced dirty chai that was perfect with an almond croissant! Service was excellent too.

Best espresso I've ever had in my life. I'm a giant coffee snob and I can't stop thinking about the cappaccino I had at this beautiful little spot. Loved the upstairs seating too.

What a cute and quaint coffee shop right next to the Pasadena Playhouse! 4 stars!!!! A hot vanilla latte served as the perfect drink to share on a chilly night before seeing a play at the Playhouse. Our drink was flavorful and delicious with just the right amount of sweetness. Definitely looking forward to trying out other drink and food offerings at our next visit. Loved the relaxing and inviting interior as well as the friendly and welcoming staff at Zona Rosa. There's a few seats and tables on the first floor order area to enjoy your drink and food, but there's also an upstairs lounge area. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the second floor lounge area since it was so close to showtime at the Playhouse, so we'll have to check out at our next visit. Zona Rosa is open as late as 11 pm or midnight most nights so a nice drink or snack after the show is definitely a possibility!

Love love love this place!! Super cute and friendly little coffee shop. Absolutely delicious drinks and they are pet friendly!! We got our drinks and sat in their outdoor seating with our pup and just enjoyed people watching. The inside is decorated very nicely and it has upstairs lounge/seating with comfy couches. It also has art upstairs to enjoy looking at. Customer service was top notch. Will definitely be a regular place I visit while in town.

Great coffee, extremely welcoming, and great humor. Really enjoyed the day of the dead decorations . I hope to be back very soon, if not every time one the way through Pasadena. Thank you!

Sweet hole in the wall. Sizable upstairs with couches. Tables are not big enough for a laptop.

Very casual neighborhood coffee shop. Loved how nice the barista is! (Tip your baristas well!)

Relaxing hidden coffee shop, with great coffee beans, refreshing tea, and my fav the Cinnamon raising bagel! The barista was very friendly and quick to serve, i picked up the ice black mango tea and a cinnamon bagel for a quick stop before work. Relaxing moment while clearing the mind. A daily morning routine stop for sure!
