As a local resident of Pasadena for the last 31 years, this place as always provided exceptional coffee and outstanding service. Unfortunately I just found out the landlord is kicking Zona Rosa out at the end of Nov. Very sad to see another small local business kicked to the curb in Pasadena. I will be writing multiple letters and emails to Pasadena and the playhouse district to voice my disappointment. I encourage you all to do the same. Cute little cafe next to the Pasadena playhouse. They have a small outside sitting area and and upstairs portion to the place. It is quite a small coffee shop they make good drinks but if you're in a hurry this place isn't the fastest. The coffee car was manned by one dude with one espresso machine so he's limited by that. I would not recommend trying to get a drink here for a plays intermission next door. The time window is too small. They have an excellent cold brew coffee here.

I liked this spot! Had a little bit of time before catching a show at the Pasadena Playhouse next door, was craving some coffee so we decided to stop in. The place is bright/spacious and has that comfortable coffeehouse feel to it. The staff that night was friendly and chatty.
