Been coming here for years, incredible wines, wonderful staff that feels like family ❤️
A highlight of our Anniversary trip. Our server, Melissa’s, friendliness, knowledge of the wines and the history of the winery made for a wonderful tasting experience. The wines were delicious. We will definitely come back. We even got a chance to meet the owner and wine maker who were also friendly and generous to chat with us for a bit, even though it was harvest time.
This is the perfect small winery experience. It was a truly memorable visit. The wine, the view, the incredibly knowledgeable and warm staff, dog friendly patio, cute merchandise for sale (we got some candles), we didn’t get the food but they had a few options for bites as well. Literally everything was perfect. We loved this place!
Amazing winery!! Family owned! Husband, wife and daughter all catered to us even though we didnt have a reservation. Excellent and unique wines. Beautiful tasting room and outdoor setting. Can't recommend it enough!
Alta Colvina was the perfect first stop for our Paso trip. Melissa made the experience exceptional she was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wines. She went above and beyond to make sure both my friends and their daughter felt welcomed and comfortable. The hospitality, paired with such a beautiful setting, made this a standout visit. I can’t recommend Alta Colvina enough if you’re looking for an unforgettable winery experience.
When everyone is going big, Alta Colina brings it home. One of my all time favorites.
Alta Colina Winery is exceptional! You can see and taste the heart, dedication and craftsmanship that goes into their wines and vines.
Wonderful tasting experience at Alta Colina. First time trying out Paso Robles wineries and Alta Colina was a great start. Very nice selection on their tasting flight and both owners were there to talk with each guest. No rushed environment. Just wish they get a distributer in the Bay Area. Will recommend them to all my friends and family to try. Loved their Sun Worshipper!
Melissa was just awesome she gave us a tour of the facility poured us some fantastic wines and was very knowledgeable about the science and making of the wines. We would highly recommend Alta Colina wines.
Alta Colina is one of our favorite Rhône-centric wineries. Not only are the wines truly excellent, but they are very nice to visit with as well. Cheers!!!

Fabulous stay at the Trailer Pond and then an awesome tasting with Bob under the tree. Highly, highly recommend!!!!
Top notch experience at Alta Colina yet again! Huge thanks to Ed for a fantastic tasting at the Summit Vineyard Tasting and Maggie for all of the assistance and recommendations!
This is a fantastic winery and we had an exceptional Summit tasting experience with the owner, Bob. Very insightful and kind and super down to earth. The wines are great and the atmosphere is top notch. We also stayed at the Trailer Pond which is a very unique and excellent experience. Highly recommend this high quality winery with a family atmosphere.
What a great time we had. Four couples for two nights. Peaceful and super quiet. Very cute trailers, with VERY COMFORTABLE BEDS. Looking forward to our next visit.
Our visit to Alta Colina was one of the highlights of our trip. It’s a smaller, more intimate winery with a truly beautiful setting—and that made the experience feel personal and special right from the start.
We were warmly welcomed by Maggie, who was absolutely wonderful. Her hospitality, warmth, and the way she made us feel like family really stood out. There was also another team member assisting us whose name I didn’t catch, but she was equally kind and attentive. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I deeply value that kind of genuine connection and care.
We also loved that Alta Colina feels a bit off the beaten path—it’s not overly commercial, and you can tell the focus is on quality wine, authentic experiences, and supporting something truly local. The wines were excellent, and the whole experience left us feeling inspired and grateful.
Thank you to Maggie and the entire team at Alta Colina—we’ll definitely be back, and telling friends about this gem.
