Really enjoyed my visit here. I am in Paso on many occasions visiting my daughter & now I am looking forward to stopping by Calwise on future visits! We had 2 flights trying all current stock & found what we loved. Had the pizza between our tasting flights, perfection!

CalWise spirits takes whiskey, gin, and rum to another level. I tried a whiskey that had the most amazing aroma.Not only are their spirits top shelf, but the tasting room is a wonderful experience.You must try the single malt whiskey.

Tried their white rum as I live down the street from them and was suggested by a lady at store that stocked them, by far the worst rum I have ever drank. Disgusting smells of a tequila mixed with a strong agricole, salt flavor upfront to a burnt caramel-esque, which burns into a rotting papaya that lasts for about ten seconds to a long lasting horrid finish all with a rubbing alcohol or ethanol riding with it.

Love CalWise! I’m pretty picky about my spirits & cocktails - the distiller knows what he’s doing & the bartenders know how to make consistently well-balanced cocktails. Don’t like rum or gin? You’ll like theirs! Everything is beautiful neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails. They are also very generous with their recipes & make excellent mixers on site too. Member events are fun. Highly recommend this special distillery! ???
