I showed up randomly at 2am today 6/29 because I was visiting a friend in Paso Robles. This place is open 24/7, and it had free parking and decent reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I waited for the only other customers to leave the open window for ordering, and I made my way to make my order. I was greeted by a Filipina with a very positive and friendly vibe, which was peculiar so early in the morning. She offered me cronuts, which just came out and were still warm. I took one and a Gatorade and ate it next to my Mustang. Not lying, but it was probably one of the best pastries I’ve ever tasted, even better than Stan’s Donuts in Santa Clara, and also better than my favorite places in Paris and Rome overseas. I went back to the window for more, and the Filipina baker gave me a generous deal for 5 more fresh cronuts, two with strawberry topping. I’m Filipino too, and I felt like I had a memorable connection with the staff and food. This place should be on the bucket list of anybody visiting California. My only regret is not being able to tip much this time. Wish the staff the best and hope to see them again.

always super friendly, we were on our way home from the hospital, (my little girl was sick and wanted a donut lol) the sweet woman behind the counter gave my daughter an extra donut and me some get better soon tricks!

Old school donuts with fantastic service. Had the buttermilk bar donuts (all the flavors! Chocolate, maple, glazed and plain) so flavorful. Stopped by last night after dinner at In Bloom (delicious but we were still hungry afterwards), went back today to get another couple. Best service, so friendly. Are we stopping by tomorrow too? Maybe… ;-)

Ehh, donuts are alright - not the best I've had, but not bad. The vibe was pretty on spot for what I was looking for: an old-school, down-and-dirty donut shop, no fancy $4 - $5 instagram donuts on this particular morning. In that regard, the place delivered! I will note, however, that they add a $0.50 credit card surcharge fee on orders under $5 - which I thought was going to be made illegal in CA after July 1, 2024? But then might have gotten walked back at the 11th hour...? Anyway, it's NOT clearly disclosed at this establishment, like it should be. Also, I'll say it was a bit hard to understand the accents of the staff. I'm pretty well traveled and speak a few languages myself and still had a difficult time. I might return if it were the only game in town, but I might want to check out a few other spots in the area to see how they compare.

Always a great experience at DKs! Their donuts are wonderful and the employees are kind and helpful.
It is 3am,the DK sign says "Open", all lights on, personnel working, making donuts.The front door locked,the DK personnel open the sliding window to greet and take my order.The nice ladies greet with welcoming,warm smiles.I ordered the ham/cheese,croissants with jalapeno,warmed up, on a 41° nite,so good!Hot coffees, warmed donut holes,warm greetings,what more can one ask?Arnold said it best,"I'll be bock!"
