Came here for the last taste of the day. We went here because we heard that they had a great white selection. A person in our group was a big white drinker.
The location is awesome. Tin City is really amazing. So much surrounding this place. The inside felt very much like being at home but with a school vibe to do the lockers where they store there wine in.
Isabelle took care of us and she was absolutely amazing. Always willing to recommend options for us. She was beyond friendly. Despite being close to closing time she didn't rush us in anyway. She even shared some food with my 3.5 year old as she was needing a little something. We ended up sharing ghost stories for a bit with her so that was really fun. What I liked is that she actually sat down with us and talked about the wine. Like I said I felt at home.
The whites were very good. Unique varietials were offered. My friend who liked the whites was very pleased. The reds were also solid. I ended up with a bottle of franc for home and I joined the wine club.
Isabelle was a huge reason we hooked the club. If your tasting on the weekend ask for her she is awesome. Can't wait to go back for some more fun at this winery. Also a very high value winery as the bottles were very fair. Check it out.
We had such a wonderful experience at the tasting room, and a huge part of that was thanks to Isabelle! She was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout our visit. She took the time to explain each wine with genuine enthusiasm and made sure we felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. It’s clear she is passionate about both the wine and the guest experience. We left not only with a few favorite bottles, but also feeling like we had just spent time with a good friend. Highly recommend a visit—and if you get Isabelle, you’re in great hands!
My husband and I had the BEST time! Isabelle took such good care of us, and was super knowledgeable. The wine was fantastic too! We will definitely be back :)
Always a fun and insightful place to visit! It seems we learn something about wine and winemaking EVERY time we visit and this time was no exception. We love how Field Recordings keeps pushing the envelope and exploring what is possible...we're only sorry we can't get wine in cans any more!
The wine was excellent, and it was fun to taste in a laid back setting. We were served by Isabelle, who was an absolute delight — knowledgeable, friendly, and unpretentious.
Informative and diverse tasting experience. Highly recommend a tasting and confident you'll find some wines that appeal to your palette. The red blends are exceptional and the whites are unique and surprising. Our wine representative was engaging and very knowledgeable. You will enjoy yourself and the wines.
Really great experience, Field Recordings was a recommendation from a local Paso friend. In Tin City a funky/unique approach to wine production with a combination of cider and wine. I would highly encourage anyone looking for a new craft experience to try this place out. They certainly have the classics, but also some low alcohol and unique approach with a really good price point. Chill friendly vibe, Isabella (SP?) was a great host.
Zach is a storyteller! Extremely knowledgeable and is passionate about agriculture. He has a story about every wine we tried during our tasting. He truly paints a picture of the heritage of the brand. Highly recommend of you are into non pretentious wines and fun flavors. Great experience!
Winemaker Andrew Jones is a magician. Using grapes from various central coast wineries, he makes wines that are unique and awe inspiring. With an amazing nose and great taste, Andrew’s wines will transport you to another level of wine tasting - a very good one. Not to be outdone, the marketing team has delivered equally novel names for the wines such as Skins, Fiasco and Posey. We throughly enjoyed every minute of our wine tasting and, in the end, purchased half a dozen bottles. Shout out to Kat who did a great job as our wine tasting guide. Field Recordings is located in Tin City. It’s well worth a visit. Helpful Hint: At the time of our visit, wine tastings were free with a two-bottle wine purchase per person.
I love this winery. I think Mr. Jones is my first favorite winemaler. I am drinking a Barter and Trade Cab. as we speak. The first club I've been a part of, in 23 years

We had the most amazing tasting experience with Kat- totally embodied the brand that we have come to know and love in field recordings- Kat was super knowledgeable but also made us (and our pup) feel right at home. We had the absolute best day here! And the wine—- ????
If you enjoy non traditional wine, this is the winery you can't miss. At the time we visited, two different tasting options. The bubbles and Spring release.Very creative wines.
Great place!!! Amazing wines and amazing crew! Cal and Carson were amazing!
This is really good!!
Jess was awesome. All the wines are refreshing and approachable, great for Summer. I've never tried orange wine before which was really fun. The overall vibe is relaxed and cozy, and there's great food right next door too.
