What a delightful find! LXV offers an incredibly unique experience that will leave you wondering how you could ever return to a traditional wine tasting again! I am used to wine tastings at the vineyard, so was a little underwhelmed with the downtown tasting room, but it was comfortable and convenient to where we were staying. The spice pairing is unique, delicious and totally worth it. The wines were good and our host was very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a great experience.
The spice pairing option is a must-do. It really brings out the subtle flavor complexities in each of the wines. Niyoki did a great job introducing each wine, describing the process & terroir without influencing our tasting. Her knowledge as a prior chef helped her to answer our questions about pairing different foods.
