Thacher Winery & Vineyard

So many great wines! Hard to start with each variety, but i like than all!!!! liked so many…. So personable! Great atmosphere, cooked pizza for us and tasted wine in An old horse barn/stall! Very nice!

I joined Thatcher wine club early this year because a friend turned me on to them. I have been so impressed with their wines. I recently was working with Michelle on getting a special shipment of wine sent to me for an event and she was so pleasant to work with and she helped me get my wines in a timely manner. Next week I’m
Headed to Paso and we are staying at the Thatcher property and I can’t wait!

Had such a lovely experience at Thatcher! The views were lovely, and the wine even better. Our favorite was definitely Controlled Chaos! Thank you to Kim for making the afternoon so excellent, truly made our experience better. Definitely recommend for a relaxing, laid-back wine tasting!

Thacher Winery is one of our go-to places when in the Paso area - and we belong to the wine club! The tasting room staff and setting is amazing and idyllic, the winemakers are amazing, and the wines range from light and fun to rich and complex - all delicious. And we love that we can bring a lunch with us and eat it outside with our wine tasting! Also - free-roaming chickens: how cool is that?

Beautiful winery set in a gorgeous meadow in the Willow Creek AVA. Superb wines. From rose to syrah every thing I tried was great. Take a seat, enjoy the view, drink amazing wines.

On our trip through California we spontaneously visited Michelle and Sherman at their beautiful winery. Despite our unannounced visit, we received a very warm welcome and were allowed to tour the winery with you. During this tour, Michelle and Sherman told us many exciting details about their way of making wine. - We really enjoyed the wines we tasted and took the opportunity to buy some great wines.

My favorite, favorite winery in Paso Robles. Service and people: 10/10. Wines: 15/10. Scenery and history: 10/10. Commitment to the grapes: 10/10. I really can’t put into words how strongly I feel about my experiences here! Hope to be back in the future and join the club.

You’ll find a tasting of unusual varietals at Thacher, which the Brecon crew recommended (they even arrived near the end of our tasting, proving that this is a place that winery workers go after work). I’d never heard of the small-production Valdiguie Nouveau, a very tasty Gamay-ish red that benefits from a little chill and can be drunk in place of white on a hot afternoon. The even-smaller-production Graciano wasn’t new to us but was another rare red find. We enjoyed the entire flight in the comfortable tasting room.

We love this place. Great wines. Great atmosphere. And great service. We discovered this place a few years back and is always a must when we are in Paso.

We had a great and fun wine experience from Chris. He was knowledgeable and detailed and served us delicious wines(especially the Grenache and the Syrah) . Thanks and see you next time
