I'm sure the food is great but after waiting nearly an hour for a simple BBQ plate on a not busy night, I requested a refund. The delay was caused by something about a mishap in the kitchen. This isn't enough to justify the wait. Disappointing because I love the venue but the beers aren't good enough to justify the excuses about the food.

Here’s the inside scoop from an employee that worked for the business since they moved into Cal Coast..-Employers intentionally scammed their employees for months and stole money from their checks as well as butchered false paystubs.-Cockroaches and other bugs were commonly found on food surfaces.-Food that was sold to customers likely came from a broken refrigerator that never held a food safe temperature.Do not recommend working or eating at this establishment and definitely do not suggest supporting this business.

Awesome place to gather with a group of friends! We were there on a special menu football day, with a limited menu. The food was good, but may have been skimped on a bit because of the crowd. Will revisit on a regular day for sure, great environment, good beer, and loved not being waited on, just order as you please.

Took 45 min to get cold mac and cheese that they said was just made and the nachos had terrible dry tri-tip.

Terrible place to eat, save yourself from possible food poisoning and being overcharged for mediocre food. My salad had wet, brown leaves and the meat was dry and tough. Never again
