My wife and I were passing through Paso Robles and were exploring the town when it was time for lunch. Looking through Yelp we saw several possible places, but The Backyard tickled our fancy, so we decided to give it a try. What a cute find. Only outdoor seating with fire pits and heat lamps. It is very family friendly and dog friendly. It's very casual, walk up to order. The food was good. The fries were awesome. Like a wedge fry but really thin and crispy like a chip.

What a great little spot in Paso Robles. Mostly outdoor seating and dog friendly. They even have pup patties.Loved the shrimp po boy, walking tacos (ie, nachos) and their beer selection.
