Delicious wine! Chris was an incredible host. This is in our list of top 3 wineries, along with Benom and Torrin. We will absolutely recommend and come back on our next visit to Paso Robles.
Had a VERY interesting portfolio and appreciated Nicole’s passion and knowledge of wines. (This is not always the case in tasting rooms, unfortunately).
Great atmosphere, superb service, and flavorful wines. Hostesses had an extensive vocabulary to precisely describe their wines and their tastes and complexities. There is a wait-list for their membership, which we joined. We can't wait to join.
We walked in and they were very accommodating. We had a wonderful time. Alyssa and Nicole were incredible hosts. I couldn’t recommend this place more.
Beautiful intimate tasting room. Rustic and comfortable. Beautiful stemware. Amazing wines. Knowledgeable and kind attendant. $40 pp tasting but waived if you buy bottles.
Good to very good wines, and exceptionally presented. Many details and interesting details about from when they are sourcing the grapes and the entire production process.
Quality exceeds expectation. Turtle Rock is producing cult level wines. Our visit was nothing less than spectacular. We have come to appreciate Paso Robles wines and wines tasted at Turtle Rock have fast forwarded to the top of our list. We tasted whites and reds and were impressed with both. Turtle Rock sources only the best fruit for their wines and specializes in blends. We were fortunate enough to spend time with the owners and learn more about the brand. Turtle Rock wines have scored in the high 90's and even 100 the past few years. We were so impressed we joined their wine club. We are currently on a wait list because others have also discovered this outstanding wine. Can't wait for our next visit.
Wow what a treat this was! We walked up and Claudia was so friendly, even though they weren’t quite open yet. Come to find out, they have been closed for months and today was the reopening with their 2020 wines. As my husband put it, “we’ve been having really good wines in Paso, this is GREAT wine!” Snagged a couple of bottles and are now on the club wait list. Don’t miss this winery.
Great experience. Really nice Rhone blends. Zinfandel blend great too. Special.
Courteous staff. The wines are expensive but very smooth. They rolled off the tongue and grew better on the 2nd taste. Using grapes from the Adelaide region.

My choice for what to recommend for Turtle Rock from Facebook suggestions were things like picnics and ambiance etc. How about the MFing wine? We shipped a ton of wine back from our last trip to Paso and the one we keep going back to over and over is Turtle Rock. Drinking the G2 tonight with a petite filet and it’s just awesome. Comes out of the bottle like ink with leather and earth and like stewed cherry and plum. The more we drink the more we love TR.

Great treatment and excellent wines for the region.I'm not a huge fan of most Paso wines, but as an industry professional travelling through i received excellent treatment, insight, and service from the solo tasting room gentleman working on a Sunday. My personal tastes aside, each wine was well made, enjoyable and clearly from a solid source. Highly recommended if your'e in the area.
