I recently had the pleasure of visiting Union Sacre Winery, and I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience I had! From the moment I arrived, the customer service was outstanding. The staff welcomed us and made us feel right at home. They took the time to get to know us, sharing their passion for wine and guiding me through their tasting selections with great care. We loved hearing about their unique story and their journey in the wine industry.
As for the wine, we loved each one! We were impressed by their unique wines, which showcased the winemaker's creativity and attention to detail. You can truly taste the love and craftsmanship in every bottle!
The atmosphere was equally inviting. We enjoyed sipping wine on the patio, surrounded by beautiful views, which made the experience even more memorable.
Overall, Union Sacre Winery not only offers exceptional wines but also an unforgettable experience thanks to their incredible customer service. I left feeling inspired and can’t wait to return for another visit!
This review has been YEARS in the making and we definitely should have made this sooner.
My husband and I have been drinking their wine since the start of Covid. In 2020 we were celebrating our dating anniversary, and happened to pick up a bottle of their wine. We liked it so much, we went back and bought all 4 bottles they had in stores. For the next few years, we would open these bottles on special, meaningful occasions to us (anniversaries, a birthday etc).
Then we got engaged and realized we did not have this wine to share on our wedding day. Cue calling grocery and liquor stores, distributors, and any place imaginable, no one had the specific year and wine we were looking for.
We reached out to them directly, and they were kind enough to check every place imaginable to see if they had it ANYWHERE, as they no longer make the wine, and they didn’t. However, they did find the next years wine to send us.
Union Sacre had a double meaning for us, a great wine to go with what we truly believe was a ‘sacred Union’ relationship, as cheesy and cliche as that sounds.
Our second wedding anniversary is coming up, and I happened to glance at a wine bottle we have kept and preserved from this winery and this level of care deserved to be recognized. A giant thank you for making a great wine and caring about those who drink it ❤️
Hugo was passionate and informative aw always
I just love everything about Union Sacre! The wines are beautiful, elegant and bring so much joy! Each time we come to visit, we learn more about the wines and I cherish our tastings dearly. Most recently, my friends and I had so much fun with Alex, he went above and beyond and made our trip so memorable. Thank you all for you do! 5 stars to Alex and the whole team at Union Sacre!
I've been a wine club member since July 2021 and I continue to be *so* impressed by everything Union Sacré does. The wines are always beautiful and varied, and the tasting room staff are always personable, knowledgeable, and fun. Visiting their tasting room is a highlight of my visits to Paso.
This past Sunday, we had the pleasure of doing a tasting with Alex, who was so charming (and funny). He did a wonderful job leading us through the wines as we discussed the most pressing matters of the day (Beyoncé). Make it a point to visit this winery any time you get the chance, people!
Absolutely LOVE this place! Great wine, beautiful tasting room, friendly and knowledgeable staff and extremely generous towards our community!
Fantastic rieslings. We had an informative and engaging tasting here. We were so pleased we reserved a spot here while in Tin City and got to have wines that differed and were more creative/interesting than some of the other established wineries across Paso.
Wonderful wines, wonderful service. We brought our dog and we sat outside in the covered area by the wine tanks. It was rainy and a bit windy that day however we were comfortable where we sat.
We ended up signing up for a membership and left with 6 bottles.
What a hidden GEM! Hugo our host was fantastic! Explained the history of wines and the winery n wine maker. Gave us a tour of the most fantastic barrel room. The white wines which we ordinarily don't drink as much were such a beautiful explosion of flavors. A must visit while in Paso Robles you will not regret it...oh by the way the Reds are perfect!
I have to say, I can be a tough judge when it comes to wine, and absolutely everything I tasted was breathtaking. Each wine was so unique and artfully crafted; I will definitely be joining their wine club, which offers fantastic perks. Outstanding service from Daniel, whom was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, was the icing on the cake. Can’t wait to return again and again.

Amazing all the way around! Great service! Great Wine! Great Atmosphere! What a special place and treasure in Tin City!
Went here for a group wine tasting for a friend's birthday. Our fantastic server, Kelcie, had wonderful knowledge of the vineyard and the wines. The outdoor seating venue was great, and the wines were unique and very tasty.
One of our favorite stops from our recent Paso trip. SUCH amazing wines, and very different from the “norm” in Paso. We really enjoyed everything we tasted, and will definitely be ordering more from them in the future. If you like cool climate wines, specifically more Old World in style you have to try this small CA gem of a tasting room.
The wines are incredible and Daniel's knowledge of describing the wines was on point.
Had a wonderful tasting on 8/7/23. I purchased a couple bottles to bring home to NM. I opened the Fraulein Riesling 2021 tonight. I was very disappointed that the cork crumbled and came out in pieces. That is the only reason I did not offer 5stars. Maybe check your standing stock?
