Wine Shine & Tin City Distillery

Loved our stop at Tin City Distillery. Shawna was warm,, knowledgeable, generous and welcomed us despite our visit close to closing time. The cocktails and flights (Barrel and Fun) were excellent. I especially enjoyed the Walnut Brandy and my husband couldn’t believe how smooth the bourbon was. Thank you Shawna and Tin City Distillery for making our visit to Tin City smooth and memorable. We’ll be back!

Would not recommend. Horribly rude service from the bartender who stated to our group, You think you had never been to a bar before” because we didn’t line up at the bar as he saw fit. We decided we were not going to spend our money at such a rude establishment!

This was such a cool hang out spot to take a break from wine. You must try a can sangria and do a spirit tasting.

This place was super fun, definitely was fun to do a spirit tasting and take a break from the wine.

Our experience at Tin City Distillery was honestly one of the worst we've ever had. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the staff had no interest in acknowledging us, much less providing even basic service. We stood at the counter while they ignored us, and when they finally decided to pour our drinks for our tasting, they didn’t say a single word — no greeting, no description of what they were serving, not even basic eye contact. It was cold, rude, and completely unprofessional.

The entire atmosphere felt unwelcoming. For a place that’s supposed to be about hospitality and craft, they completely failed on every level. There are plenty of places that actually value their customers and create a positive experience — this is absolutely not one of them.

Supporting businesses that treat people this way only encourages more of it. Skip Tin City Distillery and spend your money somewhere that respects and values you.

Definitely try the cocktails and if you what you can do the whiskeys tasting and the price for it is very good! Honestly a big great spot to go with friend and family also around the area you have other places to try more and more he’ll yeah! …

Amazing chocolate vodka and incredible brandies. Shawna was the best bartender we could have asked for and the ambience was awesome. Don’t miss this distillery while you’re at tin city!!

Excellent Craft distillery in the heart of Paso Robles' Tin City District. The bourbon and rye whiskeys are phenomenal on aromatics and flavor. Smooth neat and amazing in one of their specialty cocktails. A "must visit" in Paso!

Two Visits and both were excellent.

Tasted a new drink (custom made cocktails) and bought a few new ingredients to add to my home pub!

Tic City has become our "house" standard here!

This place was our favorite in Tin City. We did not do a tour but we had tastings and a couple drinks after. They have so many options to choose from! The Chocolate love vodka was soooo good! And I loved the Blackberry Bramble, I even got a 4 pack togo! My boyfriend is a whiskey drinker and really enjoyed their variety. For the mixed drinks my boyfriend got an Old Fashioned, and me and my mom got The Dirty Horchata. All of them hit the spot. The 2 guys working were awesome also. Great customer service and knowledge on the distillery and drinks. Definitely go here when going to Tin City! Great prices as well unlike some of the places there!

Been wanting to check this place out. Awesome is all I can say.. Eric was very helpful, great place. Ended up buying Bourbon, the Rye, plain vodka and Chocolate Love, which surprised the hell out of me how good it was.

John Paul was the BEST! very friendly, informative and downright FUN. Visited several venues, but this was the highlight. Thanks!

We popped in near the end of the day and tasted 3 spirits (there are many to try and buy), we like all of them.Very drinkable on their own and we are ready for vodka on the rock right now! Thank you, Eric, for being a great host, we hope to see you again sometime.
