Great views, food and drinks. In a clear sunny day you can see point lobos and pacific ocean and Carmel Valley hills. The 9th hole executive course is beautiful and well manicured. The hostess was no where to be found so the waiter, I wish I could remember his name, but he was a young Asian male with a tattoo on his hand was awesome. He checked us in, cleaned and readied a table and sat us. He also came to get us drink orders and served water several time. He deserves many kudos and recognition!

Hays Place is one of my favorite restaurants on the Monterey Peninsula. It’s located in Pebble Beach and is absolutely fabulous. The service has always been incredible but the other day, my friend and I had a server that was outstanding. Her name was Karin. Be sure to ask for her and the Tin Can

This review is from several months ago and only regarding the host. We've been going to Pebble Beach resorts for ~30 years and have eaten at all of the resort restaurants many times and have never experienced anything like this.My wife and I wanted to try Hay's Place and sit outside as it was a nice day. We told the host that we'd like to sit outside and he told us that we would have to share a table with others. We asked him why since there were several empty tables available. Again he said that we would have to sit and share a table which was unacceptable, so we left and went to Stillwater's where the hostess treated really well.We will never go back to Hay's Place!!

The view of the store is very good. It is located in an open area, so you can see the sea and trees well. People are playing golf next door, creating a relaxed atmosphere. There is also a fireplace inside the store.The service was not good. The server barely pays attention to the table. They brought me water and a menu after a while, and even if I drank all the water, they didn't refill it until I told them to.For food, I ordered guacamole, steak tacos, chicken tacos, mushroom quesadillas and bowls, and haychata. Most of the dishes contain cilantro, so if you can't eat it, ask in advance to leave it out. Both taste and quantity were satisfactory, but the mushroom quesadilla was a little salty. The haychata tasted like cinnamo + light morning sunlight and was delicious.
