“Quiet little grill hidden across the street from the entrance to Spyglass Golf Course. They serve breakfast and lunch and have a great variety of snacks and drinks. Right on the golf course so you have great views from the inside, and outside, seating.The staff was great. Very helpful and attentive to my specially ordered sandwich and were very courteous.Food came out fast and hot and made to order. Beers are in a stand-up fridge, and we're exceptionally cold.The menu had a great set of options to choose from as well.

“The steak flatbread is amazing. The bartender with the red hair is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The hot drinks were amazing.i highly recommend getting one. No dress code required. Free parking lot outside and its open late. Great vibe. We sat at the bar right away.”

“Absolutely must try sushi spot. I have eaten at very fancy sushi places and this place not only beats those fancy places but it does it at such a reasonable price. All the sushi we ate was fresh and big portions. We loved it so much we went back twice on our 3-day road trip! There is an outdoor patio so we were able to bring our dog which was a plus. Also shoutout to the service, it was excellent and the waitresses were so lovely and nice. If we ever pass thru again, we are 1000% stopping by.”

“Our visit to Stoke's Adobe last weekend produced the best meal I've had on The Peninsula in a decade! Restauranteur, Sarah Orr, has hit one out of the park. The dishes prepared by Executive Chef, Bryce Hansen, were flawless, my favorties being the seared scallops and truffle chicken. “This was the best restaurant I never ate in. Lemme explain. My superwonderul-one-in-a-million friend is in Monterey visiting her sister and bro-in-law there. (Actually they live in Chico, CA but they drove down to Monterey for the weekend.) So, says I, "Why not try Sardine Factory? (I live in Albuquerque, but hey, Diana is my superwonderul-one-in-a-million friend...oops, I already said that... and she is in CA, visiting from Albuquerque). So I called Sardine Factory and spoke to Mary and she took my credit card number and the rest is history. THANK YOU MARY! Diana, my friend, said it was a "10." "Staff was fantatic."in the Conservatory. "The waiter tied a bib" on her. The best meal I ever had... from 1,00 miles away. Mary, you are the sweetest person in the world! But Diana loved it, and that what matters the most. Oh, she had cioppino (see photo) and her sister had "delicious" seafood pasta and her bro in law had sea bass ("very good"). So Mary, and Sardine Factory, you made people very happy this evening. But that is what you do. God bless.”

“Lovely bakery near the historic of Monterey, Parker-Lusseau is savored by many visitors and locals alike.

It is always busy and has limited space inside and only outdoor seating so I seldom make it in but one of my coffee club members loves it so when the boys were elsewhere early in the morning I pooped in for a cappuccino.

Friendly and efficient, the team was working hard to get thing into the cases and serve the line already there.

They were great to greatw, which previously had not been my experience, and set my expectations, and nicely directed me to where I could wait for the drink where I chatted with a visitor.

The pasteries and cakes are known to be amoung the best in the local area.

They serve Acme and my cappuccino came with a beautiful foam.

Worth a visit if you've never been.”

“I first visited this amazing local deli in 1989-1990. I remembered the half loaves of bread stacked high with a pile of my choice of meats and cheeses. Although I was only 18-19, Compagno’s established my standard for an amazing sandwich. 32 years later I brought my sons here for lunch. Same delicious goodness a generation later.”

“Very cute little cafe with top notch Lebanese foods. It's a pretty standard menu and everything we had was quite good. Don't forget to close out with the house made baklava, a great little treat, not too sweet but a good way to wrap up a meal.”
