Duarte's Tavern is a historic roadhouse located near highway 1 on the peninsula, dating back to the 1890s. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere that will transport you to California decades ago. A must-try is the Artichoke and Green Chili soup, which is not on the menu but highly recommended. The warm sourdough bread complements the soup perfectly.
