Good, cool & mellow vibe outside on a sunny day, beer very good, local hamburger exellent.

Service was poor, got very sick from the butter chicken. Was up all night blowing chunks and shitting all night and into the next day.

Chill spot, good vibe overall. After a day at the beach you won’t be disappointed. Highlight was the farm to table pickle plate. Not usually huge on pickles but damn it was refreshing

The atmosphere is amazing – chill vibes with a killer view! Perfect spot to relax.
Food is cheap and delicious – great portions and flavor!
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

The review is for the restaurant and not for the brewery.
We ordered the beyond burger and the cheese quesadilla. The burger was just ok, the bun was cold. The quesadilla was good. The potato chips with the burger didn't seem fresh. There is pretty much no table service since you order the food and pay first at the entrance table and then sit.
The back side outdoor sitting area is very good. We didn't sit since it was too windy. The Tikka masala was not available on Sunday since the Nepalese chef who makes it is only working on Friday and Saturday.. That was a bummer

Fantastic place for a few beers and some food after hiking in Butano State Park. Not sure why it’s not rated higher - the service was great, the views are stellar and it’s an amazing place in a very remote area. We will absolutely come back. Plus dog friendly!

Always good for fresh beer. If you are lucky you get very good smoked meat from Corvus farm. If not just ordinary bar food. Location never fails.

Always a stop for me and my best friends when we're heading to SC from SJ for a little fun. Their beer is fantastic, but I gush more about that fish & chips they serve. I love when my fried fish is flaky as heck, and Highway 1 never fails there; I wonder if it's caught from the very ocean that's just across the street? Sure tastes like it. It's always my choice when we come in and enjoy the live music; truly, one my favorite places ever.

Poor value for the money. Ordered four burgers with fries at $18 each, but the burgers were bland and lacked flavor.

Great place for lunch. Good prices, good tasting food and good live music

Where do I begin? Delicious, locally sourced food, the friendliest, homiest bar I have ever had the pleasure of relaxing in, the most gracious owner, beautifully landscaped garden with live music and Bbq. Don’t miss this wonderful local treasure on your Highway one trip- You’ll be so happy you and your dog stopped in!

BEST Sunday afternoon, beer...fish&chips...live music out back in the beer garden. Good Times in the sunshine along the coast!

Can i just start by saying highway 1 brewing is the place to be on a cold sunny sunday. The instant you walk in, you feel a sort of magic—celebration of the day. My friend and I stumbled in off of a pretty euphoric morning bike ride up the coast hoping to put a little sustenance in our bodies. Much to our surprise, we saw fish n chips on their menu, and knew what had to be done. Ordered a fish n chips and two highway1 beers. Some of you may know me, Sonali, one of the most trusted fish and chips critics in the states. I wouldn’t say I am the wisest conisseur, but I do know my fair share about a dank fish n chips (I worked on a fish and chips food truck pretty full time for a year). While we waited for our food the átomosphere lit up by the midday sun and my beer, turned to this excited mess of words flowers blur. There may as well have been a band behind the kind server as he walked our fish and chips outside—it was a glorious moment. Ok, i’ll start by describing the plate—fries (i can’t call them chips because they weren’t doused in malt vinegar), cocktail sauce (questionable choice? for f+c), tarter sauce(pretty good—wish it was a little more acidic), a lemon #essential, and the fish. Their fish tasted fresh, clean, not greasy. Honestly my favorite part was the fish, i would come back just for that. The fries were chill, there was malt vinegar packets at the table i put on but it’s just not the same—i wish the kitchen put on the vinegar, so yeah, chill fries. The experience was 10/10 though that food, and drink, and the sun🫠y’all if you’re driving on the once and your lucky enough to pass highway 1 brewing at a time that they are open, stop in! It’s pretty unreal

Great place to stop for a beer and some food! The beer garden had live music going when I was there. Good beer too!
