Can i just start by saying highway 1 brewing is the place to be on a cold sunny sunday. The instant you walk in, you feel a sort of magic—celebration of the day. My friend and I stumbled in off of a pretty euphoric morning bike ride up the coast hoping to put a little sustenance in our bodies. Saw this place while driving the one and I'm so glad we stopped. What's better than enjoying a beer while sitting in front of a view of the ocean? Everyone was super friendly and you can tell there's a strong local following. Food was yummy too and I appreciate that they change the menu up often. Can't wait to come back!
Great selection of brews, sailors delight is my favorite (not always on tap though).
Love the beer garden and listening to the band out there. Always seems nice back there, regardless of the weather on the coast.
Food is OK, some days it's better than others ?
It's nice to walk over the road from here and watch the pelicans on the beach.
