“I had a sandwich today from The Local (inside my gym), and it was absolutely out of this world! I ordered the Petaluma, and every bite was packed with fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors. You can tell they put real care into what they serve. I work across the street and also work out at the gym, so I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommend!“

“The BEST sandwiches in town. I, personally, think they are a much better quality than when it was Mr. Pickles. Much friendlier staff and owner. I rate this 10 stars. Love the vegetarian sando on Dutch crunch with Swiss and Baja sauce. Chicken salad sando excellent too. All good! Fresh“

“We were spending the night in Petaluma and were searching for a good place to eat online. The menu looked good so we decided to go. The dining room was small, but clean and inviting. The man at the counter was friendly and welcoming. The samosas were flaky and delicious. The meat on the steak salad was so tasty and the salad was large and fresh. The person working recommended the Spicy Basil dish, and it did not disappoint. The food was so good,if we lived here we would eat here all the time.“

“Me and my girlfriend tried this restaurant this past Sunday on account that we became aware of them having a vegan menu to supplement there regular menu, obviously being Vegans ourselves this was pretty exciting, not many places have an entirely separate menu for us to access, well this was only the first of many good qualities about this establishment, the service was impeccable and all the staff were incredibly friendly and engaging and helpful, as well as genuine, and the food, let me tell you, you won’t find better flavors at almost any restaurant, I’m not even kidding, and the list goes on and on, the pricing was fair, the portions were plenty, the salsa and sauces were amazing, the variety was great, and what’s more is that they did not attempt to substitute any of the alternative meat options, they just made sure there dishes were flavorful and decently proportioned and came out of the kitchen in a timely fashion, literally we had not one complaint and this review is so much more than deserved, don’t even know if I’ve had a better all around experience at a restaurant ever, please all vegans if you have not tried this place yet, please do, and those of you that are not, they will not disappoint either! Thankyou Tortilla Real!“

“My husband and I had pretty good slices and the price included fountain drinks - total lunch for two was under $16, which I think is a great deal compared to just about any other place to eat in Petaluma. The young man at the counter was very pleasnt, the place was clean and we enjoyed eating in a booth. We're seniors and happy to know that when we visit Petaluma we can sit down for a quick and filling lunch without paying $40+“

“Their custom salads are my favorite. Choose a type of green (romaine, spring mix, etc.), and add ingredients, toppings and dressing. Nothing complex, but always good quality served with a smile. Their sandwiches are quite good, as well. One of the specials (as in, not available every day), is a Buffalo Chicken sandwich and is probably my favorite. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food.

Parking: It is a large lot, shared by multiple tenants in the shopping center. I have never seen it more than 50% full.“

Nick The Greek Mediterranean • $

Beef Lamb Gyro Pita Combo

“I’ve had Nick the Greek more than a couple times now at various locations and there’s not too much to complain about. There’s no major difference from this location to the other ones I’ve been to. Just be aware that since it opened very recently they might have to work out some kinks that might arise from opening a new location so don’t fault them for long lines (that’s not their fault), getting orders mixed up and/or missing items (again lots of orders, lots of people, staff still training/getting used to things). Give them a chance, we’re all humans and we all make mistakes.

The beef and lamb gyro is pretty standard, nothing wrong there. But I love the Greek fries they have. Prices are a little high but pretty much everything is these days. The location is great, plenty of parking, plenty of seats to dine in at. The menu is pretty straightforward and easy to understand (if you’re not sure what exactly something is the staff is able to explain in easier terms what things are).

One thing I thought that was a little weird was that while waiting in line to order, the owner, who seems very nice, said hi to the people in front of me and behind me but didn’t say anything to me. It’s not that big of a deal but I just thought it was weird.

One recommendation that I have would be to have a sign or something to let people know that online orders can be picked up on the left side of the register. I saw a lot of people confused about that when waiting in line to order.

Overall, I would recommend trying out this location keeping the things I mentioned earlier in mind. It is a franchise, which some people might see as good or bad. Some of my review is more towards the franchise itself rather than anyone at this specific location. I do prefer some other mom and pop shops a little bit more than Nick the Greek, but only by a very little bit.

Regardless of anything negative, I’m glad there is a location in Petaluma and I will be returning for more.“

“This Hamburger Habit location has ample parking is easy to get to from the freeway. Bathrooms are super spacious and clean, some dining tables were not properly cleaned, but overall the place was very well lit and there were many places to sit in comfort. I had the Portobello Char burger with onion rings and regular flies as well as sweet potato fries. All of which were cooked to perfection. They have a do it yourself carbonated beverage machine with mini selections to choose from. I’d highly recommend visiting the spot, for comparison- the burger prices range from mid seven dollar with the highest being a $12 burger. Five guys burgers on average are $13 plus. I definitely rate this hamburger habit establishment over the five guys establishment across the freeway in Petaluma.“

“Sourdough &Co is a great place to get a sandwich and some soup! The sandwiches are tasty and the soup is comforting. I got the baked potato soup, which was on point. My sandwich was the smoked brisket as is. Both were amazing. The sandwich was a "wet" sandwich, but it was finger licking good. The soup was hearty and flavorful, I also got 2 slices of their sourdough bread to eat with my soup. Perfect combination!“
