Absolutely fabulous service and food!
This was our first time dining here, and we were blown away by the level of customer service. When my husband placed his order, we were told they were out of one of the ingredients needed for a drink he wanted. Rather than simply suggesting something else, the manager actually left the restaurant, went to Petaluma Market, picked up the missing item, and returned so the bar could make the drink exactly as ordered.

We arrived at Bijou for lunch and were immediately greeted with something increasingly rare in the restaurant world: absolute silence and our choice of literally any table in the house. Were we early? Late? Had we accidentally made a reservation on a day the rest of Petaluma collectively decided to stay home? We may never know. What we do know is that the staff treated us like royalty — possibly because, for that hour at least, we were the entire customer base.

it’s been a long time since we’ve experienced a meal where every. single. entree. was. perfect. the beef wellington was perfect. the chicken was perfect. the steak frites was perfect. my off-the-menu oxtail was orgasmic and the buttons were spilling but wasting any bit of it felt like a godly sin. their menu is small but they have used that to their advantage to achieve brilliance. i came when they just opened and they have improved leaps since then. i am so happy...read full review
