Stopped for breakfast on the way to a hike in Laguna Meadows and had wonderful French toast and fresh fruit. Stopped again next time, and next time.. Great place, nice folks. If the drive-through coffee window is open, say hello to Jade for me.

Bugers were delicious, but fries were soggy and cold - hopefully a one-time thing. If food is great, people will make the drive and plan for dining there before going to any event

After taking a spill on my motorcycle, I stumbled into Pine Valley House resort to rest and asked for help. They were gracious, even calling the paramedics to come check on me. After their OK, I started to relax and decided to get some dinner before my long trip home. Feeling very grateful for all they had done I ordered one of the best dinners I’ve ever had. I can’t say enough about the food, the service, and the kindness of the staff and owner. The atmosphere of the over 100 year old building was wonderful! God’s blessings and thanks for all your help. All I can say is we need to support people and establishments like this! Come and see, I think you’ll agree.

Super friendly service in this casual dining spot. Had a mid day menu we tried with a good vegan chili. Kim was very attentive. Gender inclusive restrooms were a cool plus.

The bartender, Amanda, was friendly and apologetic for being short handed. Their homemade ranch dressing and home-grown mint are amazing as well.

This establishment rides on the backs of it's employees
After hearing, for the 3rd (third) time and from yet another employee, how they are getting stiffed on their wages and earned tips, I'm extremely apprehensive about spending another dime here.

Having worked in the service industry, I know it is imperative that the very people who make a business run are the backbone of any business. That is the BOH and FOH. (Kitchen staff and servers, respectively)

I refuse to spend any more money here until the Staff tells me they are getting their earned tips.

Let me be crystal clear......
If you or a loved one has ever worked in the service industry, you should be wary about this establishment.

I would highly recommend tipping in cash to make sure the staff get what they earned.
If not, they get excuses as to why they can't be given their tips.

In this economy no one can afford to work for free, and people should be paid what they earn.
I look forward to a response to hear the excuses from the manager/owners myself.
I read a review that stated a prior, pregnant employee got stiffed and then ghosted on her final paycheck.

I'm curious as to the turnover rate here.

Our time here was excellent. The food was pretty normal prices, but the portions were way more than ample! Great place to fill up and grab a coffee and a meal after a hike or camping trip. Shout out to our server, Kym!
