About Steam Donkey Restaurant

Steam Donkey Restaurant is a small gem that offers solid soups, salads, and cocktails. The kitchen may be tiny, but the chef works wonders, serving amazing dishes like the best pork chop and perfectly cooked ribeye steak. The ribeye and filet mignon are cooked to perfection, and the mashed potatoes and broccoli are done very well, with huge portion sizes. Reservations through Pinecrest are recommended due to limited space, especially on busy days. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious, with the soup being a standout. The friendly staff contributes to the upbeat atmosphere, and one young man does an excellent job even when the place is packed. Locals enjoy stopping by for a drink, like the impeccable gin and tonic, or a great meal with dishes like the burger, chicken salad, and decadent slice of chocolate cake meant for sharing. With two vegetarian options available, the food quality is really good, and the flavors are amazing, making every visit special. As the only restaurant in Pinecrest, it is fortunate that Steam Donkey serves very good food at reasonable prices, and the service is always great. Customers have noted that they would definitely return for another simple but delicious meal.
