My wife and I spent her birthday weekend at the Vespera Resort in Pismo Beach. The hotel is fabulous and we loved it. Since I travel a lot, I will rarely eat at a hotel restaurant, because normally the prices are higher and the food mediocre. We prefer privately owned restaurants where the owner is present and offers top of the line service. We absolutely love the Vespera hotel itself. However the $45 a night to park was a shock and we wish we were told before hand or when we booked. They have a beautiful restaurant and bar, however, the menu is completely incomprehensible, and the items are not what would be expected from a restaurant/hotel of this caliber.
