This is my favorite restaurant in Bowling Green. The food, service, and environment is all superb. If I could come here for every meal I would. That is how good the food is. My favorite is the Qusabirrias. They are phenomenal. Definitely give this place a shot.

Based on the reviews, Birriería Jalisco is a hidden gem in the small town of Pixley. The food is perfect and incredibly authentic. The carne asada fries are delicious, and the birria quesadilla has a major cheese pull and comes with consomé and red salsa. The al pastor quesadilla and chicharrón burritos are also great, with huge portion sizes. The best enchiladas verde on the 99 between Modesto and Bakersfield can be found here. The food is incredible and better than anything from a road trip across Southern California and Arizona. The birria de chivo is excellent, and the hand-made tortillas, huge sope, and torta are all delicious. A must try off the freeway.
