So many options in the farm stand, and they have the best apple juice, I always grab at least one bottle for the road. Their Apple pie was so good, as were the apple fritters and donuts (all nice and fluffy!) and my brother picked out a few jars of preseves to take back home with him.
I went to try the special lunch, a beef brisket sandwich, but I was disappointed. The meat was dry and salty. It was decently served, but I have tried better briskets.
We decided to check out Boa Vista Orchards while we were in the area since it was less than a 10 minute drive away from where we were staying. While there, we tried a brisket sandwich sampling the BBQ sauces that were available as condiments and we had an apple donut each. I am not one for apples, but the donut was really good! (I had the caramel icing one and my husband had the chocolate icing one. We were both very pleased.) During our first visit we also purchased honey. Raw, local honey is extremely important to have daily if you struggle with sinus issues. It helps us tremendously! On our second visit, we had to get our food in again and also purchased the Sweet Bourbon BBQ sauce because it was so gosh darn good! It even tastes great on spinach and ricotta ravioli, wildly enough!
I have been bbqing for 59 years. The bacon bourbon sauce has to be one of the best sauces I have ever had. Just amazing
Hey, if I was headed to Tahoe for the weekend, I would stop at apple hill without a doubt, excellent produce, excellent meat and a guy's barbecuing prime rib sandwiches in the lobby area near the checkout counters, it's perfect what a great run operation.
We like to stop by here on the way back from Tahoe as a pit stop. But we came for Halloween time because we heard the rave of how much there is to do during this time. And maybe the rave didn’t give much details. I think you have to stop by multiple places down the road to enjoy it.
The Boa Vista orchard is amazing for what they do, they gain ALOT OF ATTRACTION, so busy lines can be wrapped around. Food is quite expensive! And for Halloween: they have a small hay ride and pumpkin patch where you may take pictures.
This is a must stop! Loved the donuts and clean restrooms!
Great place to take the family and spend the day. The doughnuts are awesome as well as the apple cider and beer.
Loved it
Totally the best fruit stand

Went there for their popular Brisket sandwich and Apple pie. Was not impressed by the taste and quality as both was lacking. Brisket was cut open from plastic bag and put on grill to heat up. They didn't even smoke it themselves. Oh, and it was chewy!! It was like eating old meat. The slice of Apple pie was cold, and mushy. Other places served theirs warm. I also bought a Whole Pie to take home, but was not given a covering or a box for the pie. They shoved it in a bag and handed to me. The fruits they have didn't look fresh either. Not sure if I will return for more business as other places nearby make really good pies.
A place we return to over and over again...
First time there didn't disappoint... everything fresh... don't forget to grab a pie before leaving
One of most known vendors at Apple Hill. Definitely a must visit.
Cool place if you like apples. Fresh pies, fudge and a lot of apple stuff.
