Went to Placerville just to try this restaraunt. Had breakfast that was delicious and the offer mimosas. I had original Joe's scramble and my wife had the farmers skillet. Both were flavorful and large portions. Definitely going back to explore the menu some more.Parking: The lot is small so it fills up fast

Had a delicious breakfast today. We arrived for a late breakfast so there were no lines and were seated immediately. Our server was very nice. The prices are reasonable by today's standards ($5 to $7 less than in the Bay Area) and the portions are huge. My wife had the Crabby (crab cakes) Eggs Benedict and I had the Irish (corned beef hash) Eggs Benedict. We each ended up bringing home half of our orders. Will definitely be back for another visit.

Food was fine, but the women's bathroom was really gross.

Amazing food and service. Place looks beautiful with a old school country kitchen flair. Owner gave my wife a brownie when I told her I jokingly said I wouldn't buy her one. A+

The decor had me lost and all the great choices made my order even harder. Very generous portions and a very warm inviting atmosphere in the heart of historic Hangtown.

The food portions are insane here. Great place for breakfast! Just bring an appetite or people to share with! The kids really like the decor (antiques).

Portions were massive! I ordered the eggs and biscuits with sausage and gravy. If it wasn't for the sausage, the gravy wouldn't have any flavor. The hash browns were crunchy and tasty. Recommend the cherry or apple strudel.

Great diner to eat at on our way to Apple Hill. Right when you walk in you will see an eclectic country style decor all over. Old everything! Pretty neat. We ordered the Seafood platter, meat loaf & blueberry muffins. All meals come with soup or salad (not pictured). I got the soup (Chicken Tortilla) & my hubby got the house salad. Soup was delicious and hubby said salad was good. Food was great and our waitress was awesome and so very friendly. Would definitely go back.
