Good service, food was delivered not quite hot enough, and food would be better if more highly spiced. Could use a spicy Chicken Mole dish, offered with your choice of black or red mole.

Cascada has excellent food.. my personal favorite is the chili Verde. In general though, the young people that work here are just nice folks. I just love the servers!

Atmosphere was decent, although I'm confused what the vibe is they're going for. Seems unsure about it's identity. Is it Mexican? European? Hard to say. I was unimpressed with the quality of the food for the price. We ordered the lamb chop and the sauce was a weird mint Jello. Wouldn't get that again, but did see a few other people eating more Mexican style dishes that looked good.

2nd time here in 9 years... thought maybe things were better.. NOT.. I ordered the steak med, came well done and luke warm, as did the sides.. our friends ordered the lobster enchiladas, where's the lobster... Not here! At 24.00 a plate, ridiculous.... my wife ordered the chx enchiladas without jalapenos, plate came with jalapenos, which were just plucked off in the kitchen and the cold plate returned to her...Never again..... They did bring out another plate for me, but it was too late.. my dinner had been spoiled... Our waiter only ckd on us once and the place was not very busy.... Don't understand the attraction to this place..

A beautiful restaurant in downtown Placerville, California. Great atmosphere, excellent service and, for the most part, really good food. The one-star deduction is because I think that a great Mexican restaurant should have great salsa. Cascada's salsa is really bland with zero spice. Tip: if you ask, they will provide some habanero sauce that you can add to the salsa. Careful ... it's really hot, but it does improve the salsa.
