I did not get a chance to eat here but my truck had a coolant leak and broke down in Placerville. I managed to get to the O'Reilly Auto Parts near this restaurant. Two of the employees at Freshmex Express were very helpful. One of them helped me figure out where the leak was and I was able to get the parts I needed. He even went above and beyond and did the repair for me. Thanks so much!!!
It’s a taqueria with a compact menu. The interior is clean and simple, basic. But I sure dig their barbacoa… both the chili verde and chile colarado. It has a good depth of flavors. Easily customizable burrito options. Can visualize most fast-food mexican chains, like Chipotle, but the food quality is fresh and far superior. The restaurant is also consistently very clean and normally uncrowded.
