I treated the family on Friday at almost 80.00 and a 20.00 tip. Ran in after work today and picked up 3 sandwiches for dinner and lunch tomorrow. I got up to Pollock Pines and handed my daughter her sandwich. It was completely wrong not even close to what I ordered. No big deal, I figured I'd call and they'd make it right next time. NO! They said I can bring the wrong sandwich in and they'd replace it. I don't live down the road and even if I did I wouldn't necessarily want to go back out. According to the manager he said it's the owner (Gino's) policy to bring the wrong sandwich in! For 20.00 sandwiches, I'm not going to waste another 10 in gas and my time. I personally won't be going back! I'll stick to Mr Pickles or Sourdough and Co! If you go open your sandwich if you're taking it to go!

Great sandwiches. Too big to eat it all, so it's a two meal sandwich.. had a turkey bacon, it was so good!

The staff is very friendly, and the food is good, but wrong 3 of the last 4 visits. I’m used to giving the number of my choice, paying and hitting the road. It’s frustrating that I should have to remember to specify my order at this one location, because they keep getting it wrong. It also sucks that this is the closest location to many isolated communities so you don’t even realize the screw up until you’re too far to justify a return.In other words, they’d be great if they actually learned their menu.

Glad that they got a JM in Placerville. Had them in Florida when i was living there and used to love their BLTs. Waited until the hype died down and got a mini #9 mikes way minus tomatoes. Also ordered a side of chipotle mayo and buffalo sauce to dip. Sandwich was packed and delicious. Deli meat was fresh. Mikes way makes the sandwich pretty "juicy". It was yummy though bc I was horrified at the amount of vinegar (and was it oil?) she put on my mini. So great suggestion. It IS a little pricey here. The mini was close to $10 without chips and drinks. But the sandwich was fantastic and filling and the service was very friendly.

Very friendly Manager/owner and employees. Very quick and had homemade cookies and brownies! Yum Great ambiance and a clean restroom!

The subs are worth the wait when the place is jamming at lunch rush, but that's when you order through the app and can earn free stuff! However, you do that at the cost of losing conversation with the AMAZING employees! Everyone is extremely friendly and I've honestly never seen such an example of cohesive teamwork as I've seen at this location!

I can’t get over how AMAZINGLY kindhearted the workers are at the Placerville location. I bring in a teenage partially nonverbal special needs girl I caretake for and the workers will communicate to her even though she doesn’t really know how to talk back. She is actually trying to hold a conversation with them because they keep talking even if they don’t understand her!! The first time I went in I was surprised because nobody ever puts that much effort into talking to her at fast food or sandwich places. Then they remembered us the second time and now it’s the only sandwich place I’ll go to because of how kind they are and how much they actually make you feel they care about you as the customer. It’s her favorite place to go now! Kindness goes such a long ways and they truly show just that.Also the sandwiches are unique and yummy! I wasn’t sure what to get at first, but I recommend getting the pepper jelly they have because no other sandwich shop has that. The sandwiches are much different than subway, but I think they’re better in my opinion.Kid-friendliness: Literally the sweetest people you’ll ever meet!
